The whole DLC was better than the actual game itself.

Also, a question to the Vanguards: what would happen if you and Vasir used biotic charge on each other at the same time?

My personal theory is that that much awesome colliding at those velocities would vaporize Nos Astra.

I froze Vasir with my cryo talent then shattered her, but she was still alive in the cutscene. Another big moment for me was the fussing between Shepard & Liara in the car chase & leading up to breaking in in the door at the Shadow Broker's ship. Of course the cutscene where shepard fists brawl the new shawdow broker is fun to watch.  Shepard finally does get to have some with the old flame later though.

Shepard: That's it?
Tela: What?
Shepard: Vasir, I sacrificed hundreds of humans lives to save the Destiny Ascension. I unleashed the rachni upon the galaxy. So I hope for your sake that your plan doesn't hinge on the idea that I won't shoot a damn hostage!

tela vasir (everything about her was awesome, except having to off her), storms on Illium, improved level design & breathtaking environments: Illium (again) & shadow broker's ship being exceptional. the reveal of the SB was good and bad - nice design, something new but i thought it could have been... more inventive than that. still beating the crap out of him with martial cqc was epic.

That was probably the most badass thing I've ever read ever in my life ever. I was nearly cheering at the screen. If Shepard doesn't get the chance to shake Hackett's hand in ME3 I will be upset. Hackett deserves a huge role!

Yeah that was pretty hardcore, especially when my Shep is a female. But I immediately remembered the words of the devs about how the Lair of the Shadow Broker was intended to be played after the suicide mission, in which it was already made quite obvious that the numerous cybernetic implants and improvements had made Shepard exceptionally strong and hardy. So to me the whole scene was just some natural badassery from an improved and truly powerful Shepard.

The DLC was so filled with those moments I can't even begin to think of them. Filled with marvelous nostalgia, excellent dialogue and just those little things that really felt so big. But I guess the Spectre / SB fights, and the SB ships outerior with the mindblowingly awesome lightning cloud scenery would be the things that most stand out. In truth though, what I was NOT expecting, was that this DLC was all about Liara. I had all but forgotten her, but her personality gained such new dimensions of depth and promise and long due explanations that I'm practically obsessed of her now.

The car chase was stunning. The scenery and the pace of it just really had me diving around in my chair avoiding cars. And all the priceless banter with Liara being a backseat driver made it work so well. Other moments like when Shepard and Liara jumped out a window to chase Vasir (think that was her name) and the battle with her itself was awesome i was thinking "This is what boss battles in Mass Effect 2 should have been like!" and finally seeing the Shadow Broker was awesome it was like "What in the **** is THAT!?"

erm, I meant when Liara became the Shadow Broker

After you kill the SB, it's the speech Liara gives to the crew on the ship. (No one's seen the SB & lived to tell about it. So she masks her voice & becomes him to everyone)

Got to the fight and was like, 'Ok, this is annoying, but should be quick'. Hit my Van-charge and.... missed as a blue tunnel of light flashed away from where she was. Paused the game and scrambled looking for her, and saw her halfway across the arena.



Then I grinned.



Longest fight in the DLC (SB was a wimp compared to that) and one of the most satisfying ones in the series to date.

i don't think that's the real shadow broker... could have been a decoy or something... could have known someone was on his trail.

Go back to the SB ship & read the logs of all the characters & you will find that the SB.............. was killed a long time ago even Liara was right about it.

fighting on the ship, pull became the most powerfull move, if you could lift people into the air enough the wind caught them and they flew away only to be struck by lightening, possibly one of the coolest dispatches of enemies ive ever seen!



also the new species for the shadow broker, awsome twist, never saw that coming, possibility of new squadmate? abduct a yagh? hahaha pretty sure the reapers would **** themself in fear
