The Elven Lass Liberation League (ELLL) starts here.

The ELLL seeks to - through socially concious demonstrations, civil disobediance and murder squads - affect the seemingly illogical and wanton decision to force immoral or asocial behaviour upon free elvhenan men, wheter they stem from an alienage, a dalish clan or otherwise. Most notably the restriction of romancable eligable elven lasses.

As of now there are no romance options for a racially or morally concious elven man, as opposed to the multitude of options available to human male and women - in the case of human harlots seemingly involving coupling with a depraved & oikophobic elven traitor.

Considering the cultural controversy and the implications on the elven peoples as a whole, this is nothing short of a major oversight, intentional or not. With romances as an integrated part of an overall arc, the demand of representation should come naturally and spontaneous to every free man or woman. The choice of mate or spouse is a major decision within virtually any culture or creed and a socially unacceptable choice would, and should, result in widespread ostracization - this of course not applying to humans in human cultures, since any such offspring is naturally devolved into their degenerate state of being.

As some of you may know, the spawn of any unholy elven-human crossbreeding always results in a human calf. With declining birthrates, the quickening, and the wanton oppression from human rapelords, no elf in good conscience would, or should, choose to select a human harlot or concubine as mate.

By not offering representation to the male elven population, Bioware is perpetuating a silent genocide upon the elven race as a whole and supporting hate crimes on an ever-growing scale. We want to change that. Please, show us that you care.

Join the Elven Lass Liberation League (ELLL) today. By having this userbar in your signature, you constantly remind our oppressors that we exist and that we will not stand silent as a people fade slowly into the abyss. A fate not of our making, but forced upon us. A genocide seemingly ignored.

Why the spoiler forum? Because it's entirely possible that there are still those not aware of the current situation. And for those few, we are not allowed to preach.

No cooperation without representation!

This plight is not just the elvhenan's plight, but the plight of all men, including the durgen'len, or dwarva as you say, sir. For all things considered; Where are the dwarven romance? Where is the dwarven love? What of the comely dwarven lass to bring you warmth and fetch your ale? Or the strong dwarven men for your women? It would appear that Oghren, the only represented dwarf, is as stoic as a rock, even after the loss of his clan and spouse.

No, sir, the doors stand open for all to join the ELLL, not just elves.
Unless, of course, you support genocide.

You sir. Are my hero.

As a human, I would proudly mate with your kin...

She would be available for romance with all the other races . That said maybe its better that female elf isnt an option.

No-one starts perfect. The salvation of the imperfect is half the battle. ;)
In other news, there was a meeting of the Committee and with newfound insights and renewed vigor, we created the ELLL Group.

I.e. I figured out that you can have groups on the site.

my noble recognizes your need of survival, but reminds you that there is always the possibility to search for your elf love after the game, and she thinks you can't let your human prejudice influence your search for true love, which can be your options at the game ;)

Also, maybe you will have your elf romance in the end (a hot antivan crow member ;) )

And that, my friends, is what we call 'in you end-o.'

That came to mind for me, too. Maybe it's a bit different when writing it for a book than it is for a game?

It is, I just meant maybe it feels less old/tired for him when writing for a novel? Or maybe he didn't have a say in that matter?

I just think that when it came to creating romances for DAO, they did not think of, hey, what races, but more of Hey, what cool characters can we create? I just think that there was no elven lady with a good story that came to their mind, that's all.

That's very likely, I think. Oh well. It would've been nice if they could have one for us playing Dalish, but I enjoy Bioware's romances enough that I won't let the lack of a female elf option stop me from hooking my Dalish up with somebody. If someone made a decent mod for it, I'd give it a try once I had a PC copy of DA:O.

I wholeheartedly agree, outside of 4chan this is easily one of the most enjoyable posts I've ever read.

Oh please, how can this image alone not conjure up images of several truly awesome elvenmaid characters at once? :(

Maybe they should've asked that artist to come up with a suitable character. :P

I'd like to enjoy another Bioware romance, but I don't see myself enjoying one where I have to detach myself from my character(s) and the issue with mods is that.. well.. they're mods. They are rarely well done and they almost never, ever, ever fit seamlessly into a game.

Understandable, and it's for similar reasons I don't generally play mods, either. I'd give it a chance in this case, though, since it's probably more likely to happen than the developers adding in a female elf romance. You never know, though. There's always DLC...

This is true. I never said we would never ever do a female elven romance again, just that we didn't sit around trying to fill racial slots and then create characters to match. Nor will we.

If you simply decide that you must create a militant elven character who would never ever have a relationship of any kind with a human, then knock yourself out. Demanding that we must not only conform to your vision of elves but actually provide you with a romance to suit is only eyeroll-inducing. Sometimes I think this whole jumped-up elven identification thing you have going, Lotion, is just tongue-in-cheek, but other times I think that yes, you must indeed be a wackadoodle.

Poor Varenus, probably had no idea who Lotion is or why people keep on calling him by that name.

Impossible, or there are Elves on one side, and Zevran on the other. This one elf is unique <3
