What is your operating system on your gaming PC? On the PC where it works for you, is there a different system? Also, try running it from the flash drive right away (do not copy to your hdd and then run).

I'm running XP, and the other PC is also running with it. I can give launching it directly from the flash drive, but we will have to see how it goes.

Some ISPs want to save big files on their local net server for several hours to a day. This helps them not to have to get the big files over and over again. So if your file is corrupted, and you redownload immediately, chances that you would get what you just deleted moment ago.

This may not help, but it may fix if you don't load the file for, say, a day and then download it to get the fresh copy.

I was about to give up hope, but I just got it working (after two days - thank you God) after downloading it with Mozilla Firefox's DownloadThemAll download manager. The funny thing is that I had used two other downloaded managers before, and it didn't work with either.

Granted, I don't know what was causing the issue - I only hope I don't have to face it again anytime soon. Thanks to everyone who took part in aiding me with this blight.

I am having the same problem as well. NSIS integrity check failure. Downloaded the file over a 2-day period(had to stop download & continue the next day) with Free Download Manager.

Same here. I'm on Win7 Pro, but I was able to use all the other DLCs fine. I've attempted four times (cleaning caches, using both IE and Chrome, choosing different locations) and each time get the same NSIS error.

I tried using Kronnor's suggestion of the /NCRC flag. The Installer opened correctly, then failed halfway through suggesting that the installer was corrupt ("Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?"). Next I'm going to try downloading it on my laptop and see if that will have any effect.

Great, finally it worked for you. I have uploaded the file here:

Maybe it will help at least some of you guys!

I had the same issue (Win7 x64) downloading from the link offered after purchase at this site. The link in the 1st page of this thread worked fine though. I've also used IE instead of Firefox to download the file the 2nd time.

Same here (Win 7 64-bit) I tried it with IE and Opera. I've messaged some of the Bioware guys asking about this but haven't heard back yet.

(EDIT) I downloaded it again using Firefox's DownloadItAll and it worked.  I know one other person has done this and gotten it to work as well.  I hope it works for anyone else who wants to try.

I've finally gotten this to work; it took 7 downloads, but before the last attempt at install, I shut down Windows Firewall and was able to at least install the file, whereas I'd been getting the NSIS error every time previously. I haven't yet tried the actual content, though all the proper triggers for it are present with Liara. I'm assuming it's going to work properly, and now I'm just waiting to see if I hit the glitch with the car chase at the end that I was reading about while initially trying to find a fix for the NSIS error.

I'm running Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit. See if disabling the Windows Firewall works out for you.

Thanks Nikolaus!

I can confirm that this works. DownloadThemAll for firefox allowed me to get past the integrity verification with no problems.
And yes, I guess even after a month, there's still problems getting this downloaded properly.

Sorry for the necropost.

I got the same NSIS Error when I downloaded from the game promotions. The first link installed the DLC, but that link rendered my ME2 unplayable.

I'm using Windows XP SP3 32-bit as well as the Steam version of ME2.

Sorry for bumping this...has anyone found a reason / a cure for this problem? I bought the DLC but I'm having major problems trying to run the installer package. Running as administrator, on a Win 7 64x platform. Tried to download with Firefox and IE, even attempted to download it with a Mac and then copied it to my gaming computer. Still same issue with NSIS.

EDIT: It's working now! Downloaded the package once more on a Mac and copied the .exe to my gaming rig. The only difference this time was that I used Safari instead of Firefox. Oh well. :wizard:

Hey Guys GOOD NEWS! After 3 hours with 4 people on the support chat, I DID IT MYSELF.

Use internet Explorer.

SELECT OPEN NOT SAVE.

it worked perfectly for all my DLCs with the NSIS problem

I can confirm that the Firefox DownloadThemAll! Manager solves the NSIS problem. For anyone who has this problem: just make sure you're on cable (not wireless network), download the manager (it's a firefox plugin), enter settings, make it divide the file into 8 or 10 parts (default is 4), remove the "renew connection" (not sure if this is the correct term in English, it's when the download continues on its own after the a "time overdue" from the server) limit (default is 5 I think, set to no limit). If your transfer rate is unstable set a transfer limit until you reach transfer stability, it's more important than speed.

The complete file does not have the red "2" icon like some smaller DLC (thanks to Bogsnot1 for the info)

Believe it or not, but this is STILL an issue more than a year later. I can't find a single official response from Bioware. I've downloaded this on three different computers, and four browsers, including wget and downthemall. No matter what, I get a NSIS integrity error. At the moment, I am seriously unhappy with Bioware.

NSIS is most often caused by dropped packets due to bad internet connection or WiFi. Simply put the connection between you and Bioware isn't up to the job. Some Browsers such as Google Chrome seem to handle it better, but it isn't Bioware's issue, so much as an internet issue. Maybe they should have put an integrity fix exe inside the dl but truly if you have a good internet connection, and don't use WiFi you rarely if ever have this issue.

So get off WiFi, and run a cable to your router and it will probably fix the issue.

Hello, I have the same issue, I recently bough this DLC and cannot even play it. I do not run wifi, and the other dlc's installed just fine. I tried, Internet Explorer, Firefox (with and without the downloadthemall! addon), still can't get it to work.

On a side note, I don't really understand how the pirates can have this sh*t for free and WORKING, while we pay somewhat stupid amount of money and some of us, a year later, are still getting this issue. :(

NSIS errors, as McSuperSport mentioned are caused by packet loss during the transmission/receiving of the file in question. This is due to how much traffic is on the EA servers, your ISP, all the links inbetween at the time of you downloading the file, as well as your choice of browser, and whatever add-ons are installed on it.

Chrome, and Opera (both without add-ons) are the 2 most reliable browsers to use for downloading the DLC, as they seem to recover any packet loss better than IE or Firefox.

Even pirates get the NSIS errors, especially those who either use wireless, or live in countries/regions that have low quality internet access.

I have been trying for a couple of days now, at different times of the day. I haven't tried chrome yet, will try that.
Not too sure about packet loss for the pirates. :)
Attempting Chrome download atm.

I'm sure about it. I always check on various torrent and forum sites to see if there are any particular flaws that happen in pirate versions so I know what to look for if someone comes here asknig about teh same problem.

Torrents are often more stable than direct downloads due to the nature of the technologies involved. Multiple sources vs single source.
