Toughts:
HAhahaha... obviously something stupid being configured on the server end trying to optimize downloads of size greater then <something>. I performed a third download after IE downloads were complete using Gentoo/curl again, and received a 3rd different file (md5sum). So I call: Tremendous BS. Someone needs to get kicked in the junk. A 1.5Gb file is NOT a heavy download for me, nor are the among 20 or so data scorts I have performed yesterday or the day before that with out issues.
Being that this _is_ an issue over a year now... Bioware, you truly... truly do not care.
My advice, strangely as I despise Windows for _any_ use other then for games, is to use Internet Explorer to download said file. As it worked for me twice. <shudder>
