After all the Shadow Broker issues, I'm bringing this up again, which should be a known issue.

The bug: Choose Legion and you crash, simply as that.

I was expecting some patch to be released alongside the Shadow Broker content, but this unfortunately hasn't been the case.

Unlike many people, I didn't go berserk after downloading a fake file and waiting a few more hours for the new DLC, in fact, I've been patiently waiting to be able to play the previous DLC the way I want. Now I'd like to be able to play both of them.. I started up Mass Effect 2, loaded up my most recent save, which was in the Overlord mission, and it became clear the bug hasn't been fixed. My most recent non-Overlord save is the beginning of the final mission.

So in order to play the Shadow Broker DLC, I'll have to either:
- wait for a patch
- do the final mission over

Option 1 is ridiculous, option 2 is very disappointing, but is the better one. I think I can remember every choice I made, so I can replay it the same way as I went through it the first time as much as possible. And it seems to be the quickest way for me to at least enjoy 1 of the 2 DLC is have yet to play (but already purchased and installed).

Before you suggest I choose someone other than Legion: I like Legion, but I barely used him, as I've done every other mission before doing the final one, except for Overlord, which I intentionally saved for that purpose, to bring Legion (and Tali) along. It's clear you're intended to be able to bring him with you. 
Either put in some lame story/dialogue-driven excuse why you can't choose Legion, or just fix the bug. Either way, don't let the game crash. I prefer the latter option obviously.

For now, I've 560 points worth of DLC which I can't enjoy the way I want, eventhough there's already new DLC available. I'm sure there is some "minor-things-to-fix-list", for a patch you're waiting for the right time to release strategically, but this is not a minor thing, it crashes your game. It should at least be hotfixed, because releasing DLC while your previous DLC is bugged, is just plain wrong, no matter how good the new DLC appears to be.

i totally agree with you, to me bioware you could make that patch gb long dont care but please fix dlcs (before you release more ) and other stuff other people been reporting (thats need fixing)

There simply is not time to waste on patches for things that are not game breaking. You have a full squad to choose from for Overlord so it's not like you cannot complete it.



Unfortunately the "to do" list for development teams is very big especially with several releases on the table people are working 12 hour shifts (if they are lucky) just to get games and DLC out so they can't forcus on every minor little glitch and create patches constantly.
