Infiltrator Shepard + lots of biotic help from Thane and Liara + Collector Particle Beam still barely equals Tela.

And yet Vanguard Shepard takes her down with minimal troubles.  The other boss battle in Lair of the Shadow Broker is equally Vanguard friendly.  Maybe it's to make up for the final boss.

But back on topic, I enjoyed the Tela Vasir battle.  Her use of Shockwave kept me moving and was a welcome change of pace from the typical Warp/Barrier spamming Biotic bosses.

Yes, it was one of the best boss fights in the game.
And I have the impression Vasir's Schockwave is better than Shepard's. It was definitely something to be careful of.

In the end, there can be only one spectre.

Why did that just make me think of Highlander? Lol!

She was pretty awsome, I was glad to meet another Spectre, hopefully we will meet more, who wont die though. Image IPB

Highlander reference = win.

It's almost like she was being blackmailed the Shadow Broker to do his dirty work, I would have thought a specter could get the job done on their own (mostly) and she has no moral compass at all not only to challenge another specter or someone of Shepard's stature (if Shepard isn’t a specter) but betray them and not even deny it.

I'm not upset she's dead I am upset she made the choices she did because she was one very cool Asari, she would have made one hell of an ally.

I would have thought that specter’s have the vision to see the reaper threat.

I knew she was an evil character from the start... all those close shots of her shifty eyes! But she was a cool character nonetheless, too bad you cannot spare her. As someone already posted, I would have liked to have an option to say "yes I hate Cerberus as well".

Evil? She said when she about to die that the information from the shadow broker saved far more lifes then she killed.
Thats renegade, not evil. She didnt cooperate with the broker just for power and money but to do what she thought was in the best interest of the council.

Tela Vasir was a good character... and insanely powerful. Also, like all asari, hot. But if I had to pick, I still like Liara and Aria better, but Tela Vasir is a great character too.

One of the most interesting and intriguing adversaries in the series so far and another proof for my theory that female villains are much more fascinating villains than male ones...;)

Tela was such a cool character, it's unfortunate we couldn't have put on the patented Shepard charm and convince her actions were misguided and oh by the way come join my crusade against the reapers..

Anything but death, it sucks. Maybe she wasn't REALLY dead.. one can always hope. She /is/ a great character, and I don't even care if she's on my squad or a thron in my side in ME3, she would've been a welcome character to the story. ME seriously needs more badass Spectres instead of everyone being a) minion b)minion's boss.

She's one tough lady, first time I watched how Charge works when you are not the one using it - pretty cool! At first I thought she couldn't be killed, using Shep's Heavy Warp plus Liara's Unstable Warp and Samara's Area Reave didn't seemed to hurt her defenses at all. It took a while to strip defenses and a dozen or so Pull + Warp combo's to kill her.

A very interesting character though the Shadow Broker is nice too - would have loved to use both as squadmates though it would probably break the game.

I primaraly used "Charge" and "Geth Shot-Gun".... I [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie] the "Geth Shot-Gun".....

I realy wish that She can "charge" into Shepard... Then that would be a great fight... I didn't play the DLC in "insanity" difficulty yet, can she "charge" into Shepard in that difficulty?

I threw her off the building. That's the end of that.

I didn't know that was an option, I just let her bleed out.

+1

Shepard can threw her off, only after taking out her barrier and armor...

That's in-fight, but isn't reflected in the cut-scene.

Ah, yes, Tela Vasir. I'm reminded of a song...

Even though you broke my heart and [tried to] kill[ed] me.

She had a good point about me working for Ceberus, even though, at that point, I'd already told TIM to stuff it and I was keeping the Normandy for myself.

Been playing ME3 so much I forgot about Miss Vasir. Wonder how many war asset points this renegade would have earn Shepard had things worked out differently.
