I haven't finished LotSB yet, so I don't know if there is just some random hold out on one point until some time during the mission...
Once I got Liara in my squad, I saw she only had 29 points to distribute. Is this right? So now Jacob and Miri have 31, everyone else 30, and Liara with 29? All squaddies need to be patched to have 31 points already.
Is Liara supposed to only get 29 squad points??

Yeah, I noticed this too. Kinda pissed me off I couldn't max out three abilities. However, one of the terminals at the end kinda makes up for this. lol

Well I've heard that for some others, Liara had 30 points as normal in their copy of the game/dlc.
Why do I get only get 29? I can only max two of her powers instead of the usual 3 for squadmates.

I have had her only have 28. On another play-through she had 29. Really annoying.

I'm gonna guess you got her at max level. The game seems to short change npc's you get at max level for... some reason. When I made my first play through miri and garrus had 31 points as did jacob, everyone else had 30. When i took that game, imported and went to insanity difficulty suddenly miri and garrus had 29 points. Jack only had 27. I don't use her much but it was still a big hit. It was pretty annoying. The game just does it for some reason. And it would make a pretty smart patch.
