Hey there, I'm a LITTLE mad here. Here's what happened:
I decided to purchase some points, I did everything correctly using paypal. It confirmed the purchase. And it even said I has 1,200 points on the site. So then I went to Dragon age to purchase the DLC. The bottom left hand said "Logged out". So I clicked it to get my points. "The EA servers are no longer available"? What does that mean? Is there a way to fix this? Am I just screwed and wasted my money for nothing? Please help,

I vaguely recall Victor Watcher saying that they were working on a server patch to fix the DLC authorization problems everyone has had since 1.04 patch.. I would speculate that the servers are temporarily down while they implement the server patch or that they have the patch up and running but it has caused this error in the process. I'd say give it another day and try again unless someone from Bioware/EA comes out and says differently.

Try logging in and then out again. And then in again. It worked for me - for some reason.

For me it flashes "Connecting to Dragon Age Servers" for a second, then it does nothing. No log-in it just sits there.

Has anyone checked any of the archives in this regard?

i got the same problem. i can log in on the site. it shows the stone giant and the warden's keep on my profile. but where the download button should be there is a "--" just below that is some dragon armor for the mass effect 2 game and there is a "download" in it's place i clicked the download text and it started the download process. clearly there is something wrong with the bioware/ea site.

Yep same problem. Bought the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age Origins, and every time I try to log into the EA servers it just says.
"The EA servers are no longer available."

It's really bugging me and it's been happening for a while, please tell me someone has a solution?

Since I never use their online facility for anything when I am gaming, I chose to avoid their apron strings attached to all of their DLC, free or a dime at a time. I play as much as I want, whenever I want, and anything wrong at EA can't bother me. The UE was just more of the same boodoggle, way more trouble than it could ever possibly be worth, so naturally, I also avoided that.

When Bethesda chose to use Steam to enforce a variety of DRM, I chose not to buy Fallout: New Vegas.

Nevertheless, there have been many, MANY more threads than just one about your question, and I'll really bet that other people really have solved this:
