should the new bonus power be showing up for new characters?

I can select it on all my current Shepards, but it appears to be the only power not on the menu when creating a new character.

i've got the same problem, maybe it's related to the dlc achievements???
i got all of them bar the insanity/hc one...
or maybe there is no space left in the selection screen after you get all the standard bonus powers... that would be funny
can still use the power via adv training though (all playthrough), awesome against ymirs

I saw it on my NG+ char but I haven't made a purely new char. Though im on the 360 not sure if that's gonna make a difference. Either way it should yeah.

Yeah the dev diary on LotSB says you should be able to but I've tried several times and it doesn't show up for brand new or imported characters. It's only available through the research station. I think I'm going to make a new one and run them through at least Mordin's recruitment just to make sure it at least shows up there for them like it does on my current Shepards.
