It shows up on all my other characters when I go to the research terminal, but when I create a new character it's no where to be found.

Same here. No biggie, but it would be great if we could pick it right from the start.

In the dev diary it says it should be available to new characters. I'm just trying to figure out if it's just me or if this is a wide spread issue. I tried searching but it doesn't seem that many people have made new characters since beating the DLC looking to put stasis on them.

You're on PC as well right?

[edit here] Whoops, thought this was my thread in the characters/classes/builds section, not the tech support one.

Question: are you guys importing a ME1 character or starting a non-import (bad story decisions) character?

It doesn't show up either way.

Tried it first with imported Mass2, then imported Mass1 character.

Ditto. Vista 64. I can select stasis when I respec however, just not when I start a new game.

I can't get it to show up no how, no way. I tried a ME1 import, a new character and my character that finished the game. I'm just wondering if I have to finish the quest to get the power.

Windows 7 64bit

EDIT: After I finished the Liara quest, it showed up when I went to Advanced Training. As for it being there for any new games or imports, I have no idea.

I thought I'd update.

A Mass Effect 1 import, Stasis doesn't show up, nor for a brand new character. I'm assuming you have to wait until you recruit Modrin and go to Advanced Training to get it. Which is odd.

Yup once you unlock Mordin it's all gravy.

My problem wasn't having Stasis available, my problem was after installing LOTSB, that all of my bonus powers were gone as if I had started a new game from scratch as if not even using an import of a completed ME2 game. When I downloaded an installed LOTSB, I started a new game importing it from a completely finshed ME2 save that I have played a few times over. I had nothing to choose at all when the time came. I removed the DLC folder temporarily and started a new ME2 game with the same import and all were there. It seem I have to get those powers back by completing the loyalty missions for my squad mates. I also lost all of my achievements with the DLC.

No big deal really as I enjoyed getting those cheevos again.

I've had the same problem - any new characters I start don't get a bonus power after installing LOTSB (amongst a few other DLC, but I assume it was LOTSB). I also can't seem to get a save game editor to fix the problem either. Help!

On PC they messed up and ran out of room and didn't include a scroll function. So basically the only way to get stasis on a new game is to wait until you have Recruited Mordin and research the advanced option to change your bonus power. There is a way with an editor to do it, by opening the save going to the Raw tab, looking for the squad, expand player Look for powers and click on the box next to it saying Collection, which will bring up a bubble icon on the side click the bubble to see your current powers. Bonus power should be around number 9, so delete it and then with another save that has it copy the info into a new slot and it works. Good luck, or just wait until you get the Dr.
