What saddens me though - the LotSB is completly linear. No plot points, no plot changing choices, only one outcome of any situation, no alternate paths in the dialoge. It was just action and cutscenes, some of which had dialog wheel for some reason.

This part is so awesome. They remind me of the typical grumpy old marriage. :D LIARA <3

but you were working towards a defined goal unlike the main campaign which hypes up the ending soooo much and in the end its such a downer, fighting the Shadow Broker was so much better than killing the Human/reaper thingy in which seen like a cheesy boss fight

I could've sworn this was the favorite lines thread... ;)

Ok back on topic then.  It was definitely the  "Marriage, old age and lots of little blue children line."  I had to go back and replay that part so I could record it with fraps.  I just keep replaying that video, it makes me smile, even giggle a little.  It is so something I imagined my Shep saying all this time.

missed that one too. When was it and in what context?

When you're doing the Car Chase section, I accidently hit a few of the mines Vasir dropped, I believe the exchange was:

Shepard: "Oof!"

Liara: "Still better than the Mako!"

The thing is there is no way to make peace with the shadow broker - you just kill him, there is no way to talk liara out of being the new shadow broker, there is now way to destroy the ship, there is now way to get feron killed (seriosly, the guy is in no danger at all, what was the point of keeping him hostage?). I think there is no way not ot kill the asari specter as well. So there is really nothing to do but shoot.

At least in overlord the was one choice point in the end - and choice points are really not about the story, it is about your ability to express your opinion of the story. The LotSB has NONE of that. You can't express yourself in any way at no point. It is all like "this happens, you will enjoy it".

D'awww. Yeah that one made me really happy.

And "Keep dreaming, T'Soni." I loved the banter.

For me, the Omni Gel line was just over the top classic.

Don't remember the exact line, but Shep bragging about killing a species to save one civilian is just epic.

Shepard brags either about Killing the Racni (if you killed the queen in ME1) or unleashing themk on the galaxy (if you saved her)

I take you did not play ME1?

I thought the dialogue in which Shepard tells Tela Vasir that he doesn't care about the hostage was hilarious.

I did. The file for the PC version of the DLC is corrupted or something. Had to play the console version and since I only recently got it, I was stuck playing with default Shepard.

I just thought it was hilariously demented for Shep to brag about killing a species, Rachni or not.

For some reason i didn't have enough paragon/renegade points, so i only had two options, to drop the clips and to shoot the hostage... First time this happened to me in the game

"Remember back in the old days when you could just slap some Omni-gel on to hack anything" or something like that. But yes, this was also my favorite line.

My favourite too. I laughed out loud at that point. :D
