I love the reference to your ME2 LI.

Liara: So what are you fighting for Shepard? A chance to give Miss Vas Normandy a homeworld.
Shepard: Tali is important to me.
Liara: I know. She has been awestruck of you since she joined the Normandy two years ago.
Shepard: You could have mentioned it at the time.
Liara: And save you the fun in finding out for yourself? I hope you two find some happiness.

I missed that.  Did you skip the Paragon interupts?

It's on the Normandy when you converse with Liara. I didn't romance her in the first game so it was just Tali. Eventually the conversation came to this.

Ah.... thanks!  For some reason, I took Liara's lines in a very bitter fashion.  Probably because of my own experience, having romanced Liara and then Tali.  In the middle of the mission, she says something like, 'itching to get under Tali's helmet.'

Pretty much all of the car chase dialogue was good. Have yet to play through with male shep. Female Shep's voice acting was great in the whole thing. i cracked up in the car chase when she was getting progressively more annoyed. "Go Go Go!" "I'm GOING" "TRUCK" "I KNOW"

The funny thing about the taxi cab fare metre jibe was that when it played out I was actually pulling on the trigger a couple of times.

"Yes, you came back. And now Garrus is doing a lot more than calibrating the Normandy's guns!"

Pure win. Somebody needs to put all the "you cheated on me with x" lines on youtube.

This was my favorite as well... I sunk down in my chair and muttered, "busted."  ... but she forgave me later.

Still, amazingly funny!

It was a lot better than my other save where I'd romanced Jack. She says "I've been tossed aside for a tatooed woman with rage issues!"

Holy ****. Sounds like that's the best epic win line for the cheating issue. :D

When does she say it?

When the office splodes

Nice. I didn't notice ANY squad dialoge in LotSB except Liara... I had Garrus and Tali with me...

Tali said "se'lai" or however the Talimancers spell it.

What saddens me though - the LotSB is completly linear. No plot points, no plot changing choices, only one outcome of any situation, no alternate paths in the dialoge. It was just action and cutscenes, some of which had dialog wheel for some reason.

but you were working towards a defined goal unlike the main campaign which hypes up the ending soooo much and in the end its such a downer, fighting the Shadow Broker was so much better than killing the Human/reaper thingy in which seen like a cheesy boss fight

The thing is there is no way to make peace with the shadow broker - you just kill him, there is no way to talk liara out of being the new shadow broker, there is now way to destroy the ship, there is now way to get feron killed (seriosly, the guy is in no danger at all, what was the point of keeping him hostage?). I think there is no way not ot kill the asari specter as well. So there is really nothing to do but shoot.

At least in overlord the was one choice point in the end - and choice points are really not about the story, it is about your ability to express your opinion of the story. The LotSB has NONE of that. You can't express yourself in any way at no point. It is all like "this happens, you will enjoy it".

be careful what you complain about... LOTSB allows many of your previous "expressions" to come to fruit.  ;)

It is a nice breath of fresh air.

Liara: "Sometimes you get lucky..."

Shepard: "That's the idea." *smirk*

wow, i must have missed a lot! when was that?

It's when Liara comes to your cabin (assuming you pursue romance with her, of course.)  She gives you your old dog tags and says something like "Not everything you lose is lost forever...  sometimes you get lucky."  Followed by Shepard's comment.  :D

That whole scene was intense as hell.  'Tell me how you're really doing, not just what you tell your crew.'

I also liked,

Liara: 'Ok.'

Shep: 'Ok?'

Liara: 'Ok.'

When Liara asked me how I was doing, it finally gave me hope that this would bring more emotion to Shepard in  upcoming DLC and hopefully in ME3.

Well, my favorite would probably be the omnigel line but I had to laugh when Vasir got into the sky car to head to the roof of the trade center and said "Leave some for me." Because I actually had to say out loud: "Yeah, sure. You move faster on your own, don't you?"

Then at the end of your battle with her you say:

"Don't worry, Vasir.  I've got it under control."  BLAM!

During the hostage option I liked how the renegade Shepard gets all racist about the Asari and how Vasir should stick to what the Asari do best, dancing. :P

Not necessarily favourite, but I enjoyed Shep teasing Liara about only needing her back to 'hack a few terminals'.

anything the shadow broker said was epic, because his voice was almost as awesome as sovriegns. But i cant really pick a line, they were all so cool.

as a sidenote I had been debating which romance i would take into my first ME3 playthrough, this DLC as provided me with this decision

I forget how the exact lines go, but one of the banters during the door hacking outside SB's ship was glorious:

"You sure that program's working?"

"It's illegal even on Illium. It doesn't have a warranty."

"But you tested it, right?"

"Here come more of them."

"Tell me you tested it!"

"No time to talk!"

My Shep would've facepalmed if she wasn't busy shooting all the bad guys bearing down on them.

So if you shoot the hostage, do you you skip the battle?

No. (( you just shot the hostage, then shoot vasir for a bit, then the hostage yells "My arm!!", and the shepard is like "you'll live", and then the fight starts...
The problem i have with this is that the "epic" shot is not that epic, and "epic" oneliner "I'm a specter" is not a one liner, but a rather clumsy copmilation of sentances.....

I loved the charm to free the hostage.

Shepard: That's it?
Tela: What?
Shepard: Vasir, I sacrificed hundreds of humans lives to save the Destiny Ascension. I unleashed the rachni upon the galaxy. So I hope for your sake that your plan doesn't hinge on the idea that I won't shoot a damn hostage!

Rare occasion where the paragon dialogue sounds renegade. Completely epic.

Well, that and Liara biotically throwing a TABLE into Vasirs head.  And why does my apostrophe key suddenly start bringing up some kind of "quick find" bar instead of the symbol?
