One is Burst other is Semi Automatic, so should I take in account 15 shots hitting the head at once compared to faster fire rate of the viper?

Agreed.  Incisor gets the job done.

Incisor is the way to go. That being said, I usually use ARs, but oh well.

Incisor. I think Gatsby did a video some months back highlighting the ridiculous power of the incisor when used by squad members.

Despite this, I can't deny Legion the widow.

Legion and Thane for me. They both rock with a sniper rifle.

Garrus and Zaeed, on the other hand, I usually just let them use their assault rifles. I also think Zaeed sucks big time at sniping. I don't even know why they gave him sniper rifle training in the first place.

Noticed that too Phoenix? Every time I let him snipe he misses at least half his shots. Its like the guys blind as hell. Garrus can hit targets more reliably though but I do have him use AR's often enough too.

It certainly seems that way, but -- he only appears to hit more frequently witht he assault rifle because an assualt rifle streams out so much more fire. His percentage of hits is low with the assualt rifle, of course, and the AR is an inherently less accurate weapon too.

I can't prove it, but I think he does more actual damage with the Incisor than with any of the assualt guns.

Speaking of things I can't prove, I think squaddies get into trouble when they're armed with the Viper once the enemy closes the range. With the Incisor they can still hit at long and medium ranges, while with the Viper they seem to hit poorly at long range and almost as poorly at medium range.

Thane is just a killing machine with an Incisor and his devestating weapon bonuses.

Thane is by far my most used squadmate in ME2. He's just my kind of squadmate; biotics, exceptional weapon damage, and sniper training. Miranda and Kasumi are a close second, too. I would have used Legion more if he wasn't shafted, though.

Well yeah, I think one of his eyes are fake.

Heh yeah but that in ME universe I don't think thats an issue. Dudes lost his eye from the gunshot wound I bet, probably replaced it with a mechanical one. or.. maybe he didn't don't know - doesn't matter. You don't shoot a gun with both eyes open, you shoot with 1. More so with a scope. No one looks through a scope using both eyes heh.

Incisor is indeed the correct response. It has a higher squadmate coefficient than most other guns, and I think it's bugged besides.

What I use:



Incisor or Mantis on Garrus and Zaeed.



Viper on Thane.



Widow on Legion.
