Why no widescreen? I don't know the proportion of users who use 4:3 and 16:10, but I don't think the widescreen audience is small enou to completely ignore.

There are widescreen. Not sure what you're talking about. And if it doesn't have your exact resolution, just make sure the aspect ratio is the same and use stretch.

Use the 1920x1200 background. It's the same aspect ratio as your monitor (16x10); there's just more pixels.

Now if only Bioware would come out with 2560x1600 backgrounds...

I did a quick photoshop job to get rid of all the advertisements and logos so it looks better. Still, the quality is so so but I needed something new.

These are just trailer captures with some logos slapped onto them, There's no lady hawke in the trailer. To make a ladyhawke they'd have to make it from scratch.

So?  I don't want trailer stills sitting on my desktop.  Wouldn't kill them to create something new just for desktop backgrounds.

Point being, this took them zero time or effort, so might as well do it, that would take both. I'm sure they have better things to do.
