I still hold out hope that we will be able to recruit Ash again in ME3. Bioware did say to keep the saves and cheating on past romances would make a difference in the final game. Plus i got a nice email from Ash late in ME2 apologizing for ****ing me out, and closing with a poem. So fingers crossed for some sort of resolution (anything would be good, but companion in ME3 would be the epitome of awesome)

Ehh, it's almost a sure thing either Kaidan or Ash will be a squadmate in ME3 considering everything Bioware's said about them and their roles.

yeah what they said on horizon needs to be dealt with Bioware nerfed Shepard in his and her response to those 2
My male and female Shepard want revenge on them. now how i get that revenge does nit matter but i will get it .

its simple really i mean lets say you been away for 2 years and someone walks up to you and just starts chewing your a** out about not being loyal and calling you a traitor . and having this high and mighty attiude of well at least i know what i am type sh*t..  if someone did that to me there would be a response and a very nasty one at that.  so yeah My male and female Shepard are not happy about what went down on horizon with those 2 and i want my revenge and pay back . 

I suggest you go back and play ME1...and actually get to know Ash/kaidan's character .

Haters will hate. If Extremedouche is too stupid to understand why Ash and Kai are pissed, then let him fumble in the dark.

  


if its because Shepard is working with Cerberus. they need to grow up and stop living in the past but their actions on horizon is un called for and it not right for Bioware to basically nerf Shepard's response.  

First both Ash and Kai are super loyal to the Alliance. They had run ins with Cerberus in the first game. Shepard then dies and two years later, he/she is working WITH Cerberus. For two years Cerberus has done disgusting things and you expect Ash and Kai to join you or be nice to you? They where pissed and half all the right to be.

  



thats a problem for those 2 to deal with. so just because they are loyal to the alliance doesn't gives them the right to chew Shepard's a** out for working with Cerberus. what made it worse was Shepard was basically muted could not respond in a logical way. oh and you see how pissed he or she is when he / she tells Joker to send the shuttle.

why should i since in ME 2 the default Shepard has already killed one of them anyway.  i want revenge on what they said on horizon. as far as me being heart less well i am not heart less just someone that does not accept or will stand for getting a a** chewing out for no reason.

The Alliance is being an obstruction in Shepard's path true but you'll also recall that it is a legitimate standing government while Cerberus is an autocraticaly lead terrorist organization. I think this makes the VS' reaction quite understandable.

I really wonder why so many people have such a fascination over killing off squadmates or potential squadmates...

Back in the day it used to be about keeping everyone alive...



And to get back on track, it'd be nice to tie up loose ends with Kai/Ash. Though I think that may happen in Mass Effect 3. You never can tell what's gonna come out as DLC these days though.

But boy, if Ash was pissed at me on Horizon, wait till she finds out I've got three save files with all the new female LI's. ( I don't personally count Kelly as one)

I support this idea, I only think it's fair that Ashley and Kaiden fans get some kind of recognition or attention. Now that Liara has had her time, it's their turn.

If people complain and whine that Ashley and Kaiden are being given attention that could have gone to... I dunno.... a Tali date DLC or something, then they can just as easily not pay for it and leave the fans alone.

As it stands there is a lot of untapped story potential they could put into this and it would help give some closure to the whole ugly business between the VS and Shepard and hopefully give them a chance to make amends.

yeah i would say something but i would not treat my friend like Shepard was treated on horizon. i mean there is a way of not liking what someone is doing but its another to treat someone as if oh you sold us out and you are a traitor and this high and mighty crap of i know who i am loyal to pissed me off.  and whats even worse is Shepard could not respond properly. that was just a utter verbal berating of Shepard and its not right and there needs to be a way for Shepard to get even.  its funny how Shepard can knock a reporter on her ass but when it comes to ME 1 characters he / she becomes a big a** wimp .

Shepard's a big boy/girl. I think he can understand other's motives for their actions. He may initially feel a little hurt and angry and maybe even bitter in the long term over it but I can't see Shepard just shrugging their legitimate concerns off entirely.

You know Kaidan or Ashley being slightly mean to Shepard is not a legitimate reason for him (or her) to get revenge. Shepard is not going to kill the virmire survivor just because they hurt his feelings by calling him out on working for a terrorist.
