Just fix the issue with no autosave at the end. So we all could get out final DAO autosaves and wait for DA2 in peace.

I've also experienced the Epilogue save bug in Witch Hunt; Male Noble, did the DR but not romancing Morrigan, no Awakening, no Golems, still wrong. Glad to see Bioware is trying to tackle the issue.

People, did anybody have a chance to ask about Irving?

In my Origins walkthrough I sided with mages, Irving was mentioned in the epilogue. But in WH I can only ask about Gregoir. Is it the way it was intended or I've got Broken Circle choice bugged also?



Wasn't sure where to post that, other threads are overwhelmed by DR problem and nobody cares. Sorry :)

I'm kind of curious what the templars are doing in the tower. I could've sworn my epilogue told them to leave.

heh yeah..i wanted no more templars watch over the mages..either the CHantry overuled the king or..It's a trap!!!(aka a bug)

That's true. However... like with talking to wynne in Awakening and such... It seems as if that boon really didn't work out because the rest of the world didn't accept it... It could be like the ultimate sacrifice where they aren't going to try and explain how it happened, but the templares ended up staying. Which sucks...

I'm guessing that's intended, and BioWare didn't want to spend time making alternate scenarios for a relatively insignificant portion of the DLC.

It's probably more discontinuous if you DID annul the Circle, since Finn will still be there and his banter indicates he a) knew Anders, and B) has been in the Tower almost his entire life.  Unless they cut that part out, and you get an alternate-reality Finn for a different Broken Circle ending.

Technically it's not clear that the Templars are in the Tower in the same role they used to be in, nor are there very many of them there. Perhaps some remained in the Tower in a new capacity. Imagine your own explanations! :)

My guess is Warden asks about Gregoir since he is the Templar commander in the circle but instead of him, there is a new guy greeting the Warden. A simple curiosity thats all.

Has there been any word yet on whether Morrigan's "gift" is something we should be able to pick up/look at in game or if it was just referring to the items we get for playing the dlc?

Just wanted to send a note to say thank you to everyone who sent me information and volunteered to hlp test a beta version of the patch. Twenty-five people have been chosen and contacted for additional information, and we will be working with them to thoroghly test the patch. We'll keep you updated on progress, so keep watching!

My exact situation as well. Good luck to all the beta testers. I'm confident, knowing the passionate fans who volunteered, that the patch will get everything squared away :D

Just wanted to also pass on my thanks for all the folks that offered to assist us with this. DAO is incredibly complex when it comes to all the possible permutations so having the additional real world cases in addition to our save library is very helpful!



Incidentally, I think we're very close to a PC fix now - beta testers should expect to have something tonight to test! If successful, we hope to then get the console versions of the patch out to MS/Sony for certification shortly after.

I ****ed and moaned quite a bit after my first run through on Witch Hunt, when I got hit with the incredibly big bug.



So in fairness, props to you, Bioware, for getting on this as fast as you did. That deserves notice and comment.



And thanks to all the Beta Testers - as others have said, I'd have loved to help, but I'm on the 360.

I'm glad to help test the patch so that others may get the official patch sooner and as bug free as possible!

Also, good to know we might be able to test something tonight.

Its really great that this is getting fixed so fast props to bioware and the beta testers!
