Well, that was disappointing. I get to the end of the thing, and Morrigan's gone nuts and thinks I didn't send Alistair to her bed after all. *sigh*
I don't suppose anyone's said whether this patch will fix an existing WH playthrough? I've got a save from just before the Morrigan conversation I could load, if that were so. It wasn't so much fun that I particularly want to repeat the whole DLC just to get that conversation the way it should have been.
My understanding from reading what's been written by the beta testers is that the patch will fix up a WH game in progress. So you shouldn't have to replay it.
Yay! I was NOT expecting that answer. That's very nice. I found it especially dull to play through a lot of this DLC because my Warden was already at level 35, so I wasn't even earning XP. Given how much stuff they've made available, they really should bump the level cap up.
Yeah, I was in exactly the same boat. I started the WH at L35, too, so there was nothing to gain other than a satisfying ending to the saga.

Once this patch is out, is it safe for me to delte all the awakening and origin files and transfer them to WH?
Why would you do that? Just let them stay where they are. When you want to import a save into a new game or module, the system gives you the opportunity to select your source, i.e. which character (the specific game) and which specific save within that game.

Also I'm a console player.

The problem is I don't have space, unless you know another method on which I can have all the save games I want.

Aaaaaaaaah.
Yeah, I play on PC, so I have no idea about the issues you guys have to deal with.

I play on the PC too but from what I've heard, console players have limited disk space on their units and can only have so many save files. I'd keep your Origins and WH save files. That way, you'll have something to transfer to DA2. Worst case, you can import your Origins save and play through Awakening and Golems to recreate those saves if necessary. I'd wait for patch 1.04a however as that will generate a proper WH Epilogue save file.
Worse actually, at least for the PS3. I think the limit is 30 saves per character - you can only overwrite or delete a save file. But the worst part is, (for whatever stupid reason) the save files are write protected so you can not copy saved files and transfer them to a USB drive.
One of the reasons I purchased the PC version of DA:O (along with Sony changing the OS and TOS every other day).

We believe we've now got the last issue resolved and patches for all platforms are being created and will go into test asap.
There will NOT be a patch released tomorrow AM, however if all goes well we may be able to release tomorrow afternoon or friday morning (Mountain Time). Console patches will go out to certification at that time as well.
I'll post another update tomorrow to confirm where things are.

So the end game save fix didn't pass. How about the continuity fix?
The continuity fix has checked out. We tested that among several people who replied to our original request for beta testers and they all got answers consistent with their choices from Origins.

It's in RED. My status for this is "disabled" because I don't have this non-existing patch!
