Anyway he would go there, defeat the leader and recruit him seeing as they're very loyal once proven there is someone stronger.

My thoughts exactly.. they just seem very suitable for the incoming Reaper threat and Shepard is going to need every resource he can find.
definitely, what's amazing is that their intelligence seems Salarion like as well. Jesus they are bigger than Krogans, more violent and as intelligent as Salarians. If they don't play a part in ME3 I sense a future ME spinoff with them as the enemy.

I don't see them as an ally.. I see them more as prime candidates for Reaper ground forces. An indoctrinated Yahg could be very nasty.
Yep if they get to them first.

Damn...you mean i'll have to kill more of those things? Of course having a number of enemies that size may annoy the level designers due to the inability to use the human animations set, pathfinding etc but anything is possible.

It will be interesting to see how these play out... Even though they are not warlike to the point of krograns, would they ever be able to get past their brutality to become a space-faring race?

1. You don't know what a "mary sue" is 2. They do have a crutch, their pack mentality and anger. 3. You cant judge their entire species by one exceptional Yahg.Cra5y Pineapple wrote...
I hope not. Not only are they butt-ugly, they're the second biggest Mary Sues in the Galaxy. All war-like but intelligent at the same time...

And Shep thought before that a Krogan army would be bad.

I'm still waiting to see a Batarian squadmate.
Eh..... Iuno... A bartarian squadmate would be just as likely to shoot you in the back as he would be to shoot the enemy in the face. They're constantly portrayed as being selfish, territorial, and not all that smart.... I mean, all we've dealt with are the dumb ones that take orders and are basically fodder for your guns... maybe a bit more useful then the vorcha. I suppose they're capable enough though, they are successful pirates and slavers.
It'd be interesting but I just don't see it.
