I want the volus who kicked Jilani as my squadmate. And that's his power, he kicks people.
I want the Volus as well as the Urdnot clan member who had a tendency to kill... everything.

So I guess Saren didn't know about the Yahg? Since he would have been strong enough to kill one of their leaders and could have indoctrinated a whole army, I doubt the Battle of the Citadel would go the way it did if those beasts had been on his side.Zack56 wrote...

I don't see them as an ally.. I see them more as prime candidates for Reaper ground forces. An indoctrinated Yahg could be very nasty.
And Shep thought before that a Krogan army would be bad.

I doubt that we'll get a squadmate as a Yahg, I doubt that we'll even get any more squadmates in ME3. ME2 was ABOUT getting squadmates.
AGREED. Write ME3 like they all exist, and cut out story from the game/alternate options if you were silly enough to have them die in ME2 (and oh shush people, we should all realize that the suicide mission was a gimmick).
2-4 absolute maximum new squadmates.
I'd like Batarian. They're not all bad - Omega has the scum, and so many of the rest are brainwashed. Some good eggs gotta be around.
Volus/Elcor for lulz, but perhaps plausable. I just want to see Elcor in battle rather that just bloody standing there.
Hanar even more for lulz, of course Blasto.

A hanar/ volus/ elcor would be awesome on the ship, but as party members... maybe they could exist in boss form. For example, you battle a hanar that floats around the battlefield and throws biotic missiles are you, wilst shooting you with it's floating weapons (Blasto???)- while spouting enkindler propaganda, possibly preventing you from destroying a Prothean/ Reaper artifact.
As for Elcor, you could either battle one that has a ridiclious ammount of health with a turret on it's back (that could be destroyed with tech powers) or have a couple of them behind you in the final battle- that would be awesome.
Maybe a volus could appear at some point, with biotic powers and kicking abilities of course but that may be stretching it...

You know, as smart as the Shadowbroker was, as far as I could tell their intelligence was only measurable on one of the yagh- the one that became the SB. It would be hard to tell how smart they are as a species as only one has demonstrated the abilities listed.
It will be interesting to see how these play out... Even though they are not warlike to the point of krograns, would they ever be able to get past their brutality to become a space-faring race?
Yeah. For all we know that one yahg was their equivalent to Leonardo Da Vinci. Given that they're all pre-spaceflight and have a culture that will basically get them blown up the second they achieve an off-planet presence, I wouldn't count on them all being like him.

Well we can't fight Krogan in ME3, they're on our side, so the yahg will be the new krogan, possibly.
This was my impression. Krogan in ME2 were largely portrayed as teddy

I think the Shadow Broker Dossier said that the Yahg was learning as fast as a Salarian, and I'm sure it said that it's ferocity put even the Krogan to shame.
Smart + Ferocious = Krogan Killer
I want one.

maybe they seem submissive once a dominant male is established. Damn I don't even know if they could fit in the new normandy. Maybe in the old one's cargo bay. They sure are awesome though. Hopefully they play a part in the upcoming dlc's or ME3. Going to their home world would be insane.
maybe Im wrong and Ill check the codex again to be sure but....Isnt the SR2 BIGGER than the SR1?

Gawd...No more squad mates please. I mean Legion was as big a stretch as I was willing to tolerate.
You're know they're going to have to for ME3 right? Beacause there are some people (myself included in that list) that actually do "bloodbath" runs where they kill off as many sqaudmates as they can, only leaving the minimal amount alive in order to survive the SM. Each one of my 3 characters has 8 separate data files. 4 Renegade runs taking on each LI (if you count Kelly) then killing off all squaddies on the 4th run and keeping the station.....And then 4 Paragon runs, same as before, each LI + a bloodbath run + destroying the station. And at an attempt to have the "least" likely characters to return in ME3, I make sure that Kasumi and Zaeed are the only ones that survive on the BB runs.
