Since the other thread was locked, posting my DLC wishlist here.

1st - Squad Alternate Appearance Packs 2-4 (160 points each)
Pack 2 - Jacob, Miranda and Mordin
Pack 3 - Grunt, Tali and Samara
Pack 4 - Legion, Zaeed and Kasumi (Includes a bonus Alliance Officer casual outfit for Shepard)

2nd - Ashley Kaidan Mission Pack "Bitterweet Alliances" (800 points)
Similar to LotSB, includes an Alliance based mission teaming up with your former ME1 team member and possible love interest.  3-4 hour mission set includes new loyalty skills and centers around Shepard's possible return to the Alliance while teaming up to thwart a terrorist threat.

3rd - Urdot Wrex/Wreav Mission Pack "War of the Clans" (800 points)
The final mission pack in the flavor of LotSB has you reunited with Urdnot Wrex (Or his brother Wreav if Wrex is unavailable) to stop a coup de tat by a rival clan on Tuchanka.  Mission should be intense and filled with non-stop action, as a full scale war erupts between the two clans.  Includes new loyalty skill and the Tuchanka Battlemaster Armor set (Focused on Vanguard bonuses)

4th - Pinnacle Station Revisited (560 points)
Admiral Ahern has had plenty of time to develop new challenges for you in the simulator.  In addition to the previous mission sets of Time Trial, Capture, Survival and Hunt, we now have the Gauntlet and Maze mission sets.  In Gauntlet, you must endure a series of increasingly difficult battles, ending with a simulated fight against Shepard's most infamous archenemy, and being awarded the Spectre Tactical Armor set (Focused on Infiltrator bonuses).  In Maze it's a race against the clock, but instead of racing for kills, you race for the exit in a randomly generated labyrinth of traps and enemies, being rewarded with the Alliance Specialist Armor set (Focused on Sentinel bonuses).

5th - The Shadow of the Protheans (800 points)
An urgent transmission from the Quarian expedition team aboard the Idenna has Shepard and crew investigating a mysterious Prothean world, hoping to find a secret that may help with the imminent war against the Reaper fleet.  Join Lemm'Shal vas Idenna and a few other familiar faces from Mass Effect: Ascension, in the final DLC that foreshadows the events of Mass Effect 3.  (Basically if BioWare is going to introduce a new threat along with the Reapers, here's a chance to tease us with it.)

If something along these lines happens, I will be a happy and contented customer between now and the release of Mass Effect 3.

^This!!!!!!! mostly to #2:wub:

I really like all of them, you thought those throught very well :D

As the other thread was locked since we seemed to have two seperate discussions going, my DLC hopes can be boiled down to a couple relatively simple points...

- Curing Thane's illness: include Hanar homeworld and hopefully female Drell model as well.

- Stop Attack on Garrus' family: include Turian homeworld and hopefully female Turian model as well.

- Virmire Survivor: Kaidan/Ashley meet up after Horizon. Alliance vs. Cerberus mission on Earth.

- Quarian War: visit Quarian homeworld as mediator between them and the Geth.

2. Krogan clan war

3. More squad missions

Any DLC that focuses on Kaiden / Ashley. I want to continue my Ashley romance (well at least in one of my playthroughs) and possibly has you working with the Alliance again.

I'd also love for them to open up the Presidium in one of the DLCs, possibly one with you trying to convince the council again. I mean, it's all been designed and it's all there, why not use it Bioware?

I am greatly looking forward to reuniting with Ashley and cannot wait to see how BW approaches that very difficult relationship. However, I do not want to see it in the form of DLC. I want to see that in ME3 and be fully explored throughout the game.

I would love to team back up with Wrex though...especially since I sadly lost Grunt in my canon playthrough. :-(

Rachni DLC holds no interest for me as I deemed the Rachni queen to be to dangerous to let live.

Someone mentioned DLC in the form of Alliance vs Cerberus battles on Earth? This makes no sense. While Cerberus is an evil group they are entirely PRO-human...they would not attack Earth.

A resolution to the Quarian/Geth conflict would be very cool and would be great bridge content for ME3. Teaming with Legion and Tali and forcing them to work together could make for some highly entertaining dialogue.

Really, I just do not want Ashley/Kaidan to be relegated to DLC. As my canon Shep chose to stay faithful to Ashley I feel to reunite her and Shep in DLC would do their relationship an injustice. I found their relationship and interactions to be the most interesting between the two games and believe their reunion deserves more than a few hours.

Personally I would love to see an aquatic mission. I don't know how many of you played KOTOR 1, but I loved Manaan's underwater environments.

Another possible DLC - Explore a new world using a craft made with all those leftover minerals(You know you have a ton...). Could be aquatic or airborne. We always read about the (?) race explorers have been to this planet. Give us the feel of being on a planet no one has touched...

That could be really neat actually. Something like an underwater research lab that's in trouble for some reason. Especially with a section where you need to put on an underwater suit and actually perform some tasks alone on the ocean floor, and things like certain sections suddenly becoming flooded and cool cutscenes with Shepard and his/her squad getting washed away through corridors, etc.

Perhaps it could even be set on Kahje so we could finally see some more of the hanar and help them out (perhaps it could go a long way to getting their species' support for The Reaper war and thus carry on to ME3). Taking Thane would give you some unique dialogue. Heck... perhaps the whole thing could be you going there to help cure the guy because Hanar scientists have found a way, but then something goes wrong. Perhaps even sabotage because an enemy of Thane's knows he's there and wants to take him out. There's all kinds of possibilites.

Simple, a challenge mode of sorts would do much better with the current combat system than previously.
Also it was never intended to fill gaps in the plot, it's a bonus feature of sorts.
Really, the way I propose it is to keep it simple, and have challenges with some prizes for completion.
Even throw in a leaderboard for XBL as an added bonus if it'll work, just to see how the top times and scores rank.
Now I really like my Gauntlet idea, with a series of enemy and boss battles, ending with a confrontation against someone I'd really like a proper boss fight against again.

If you don't know who I'm referring to, just look at the first letter of each previous sentance.

forget DLC and just give me a full blown xpac that wraps up everything but the reaper threat. I really don't want to start from scratch again in ME 3 with having to recruit a new team, find the old team, run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to convince people that the reapers are almost here and other things to that nature. I want to hit the ground running with the team ready to go, the council believing in the reapers, and we are now working on how to stop them. This is supposed to be a trilogy, we shouldn't need to start from scratch every time we begin a new chapter.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything you just said. The biggest blunder Bioware could make in ME3 is to have a completely new cast of characters as new squadmates (IMO, it was one of the bigger plot blunders in ME2 seeing as the entire Reaper threat took a backseat until the last few minutes). Being able to use teammates from either ME1 or ME2 would be the best possible outcome as far as I am concerned.

Sadly Hudson already said back when the ME2 luanched that they were already working on new squadmates for ME3.  Hudson's reasoning was that it is the development of new squadmates is a core component to Mass Effect experience.  My counter to that statement is that yest it was a core component of ME because it was a brand new game and new universe, so you had to make it a part of the experience.  In ME2 it was a core component because it was forced upon us and once again in ME3 it will only be essential because it's forced upon us.  What their focus should be on is developing the list of characters that are already available to us and that we have a connection with.  The focus on ME3 should be creating an epic ending to a great story, and by forcing new people upon us and making us start from scratch is far less engaging and emotional then struggeling to save the galaxy with the people that we have a history with.

I want a DLC that expands the conversations we have with Kasumi and Zaeed.

Well, mostly Kasumi, but I guess a couple people like Zaeed too.

I would personally like a follow up DLC of Samara's loyalty mission. Finding and killing the rest of Samara's Ardat-Yakshi daughters.

Id also like something along the lines of "Omega civil war". Helping Aria quell an uprising from a power hungry family of eccentric Salarians.

Wut? They are not a threat to anyone. They decided to live in a prison like area for the rest of there life and are not addicted to the hunt. There's no point to kill them.
