LOTSB isnt the last of the DLC.

I agree, they would have at least announced it if it was.

They did more than that. They actually -though indirectly- already confirmed that LotSB was *not* the last ME2 DLC.

It was explicitly stated that LotSB was *the first* of the bridging type DLCs that somehow connect the ME2 to the ME3 story arch.

To me that sounds like we will get at least 2 more ME2 story DLCs.

Next DLC I wanna see is a Virmire survivor mission where you can advance your romance with Ash Kaiden or reconcile the friendship. If not that, then a Wrex/Wreave mission where you advance their plans on Tuchanka. That would be large enough for a 3 hour DLC. but maybe not big enough to take massive amounts of resources in ME3 so it could work.

Although now that Ive discovered a love for cool helmets Im really anticipating Appearance pack 2... Im weird like that.

This has probably been said multiple times over and over.

I would like to see an extention of the Citadel.  I know they probably wouldn't do this as they are always just wanting add new places.  If not DLC bring back a bigger citadel in ME3.  Who cares if it needs 3 discs for the game.  "Citadel Disc".   Failing that....Earth.  Always intrigued when i saw that picture of it in ME1

I still want a full sized expansion with a story focusing on taking the main plot to the next big step for ME3. New weapons, armor, and outfits are a given but new characters would be cool or better yet building the friendships and romances with all the current teammates.

this would be cool.  cept that there are multiple romances which would mean multiple dlcs? that doesnt seem cost effective.  New teammates could be possible but unlikely as we already have a smorgasbords worth of them.

I do agree that I also would want a full sized expansion like Awakening (but better in quality) for Me2.  Image IPB

Personally I would love to see an aquatic mission. I don't know how many of you played KOTOR 1, but I loved Manaan's underwater environments.

That could be really neat actually. Something like an underwater research lab that's in trouble for some reason. Especially with a section where you need to put on an underwater suit and actually perform some tasks alone on the ocean floor, and things like certain sections suddenly becoming flooded and cool cutscenes with Shepard and his/her squad getting washed away through corridors, etc.

Perhaps it could even be set on Kahje so we could finally see some more of the hanar and help them out (perhaps it could go a long way to getting their species' support for The Reaper war and thus carry on to ME3). Taking Thane would give you some unique dialogue. Heck... perhaps the whole thing could be you going there to help cure the guy because Hanar scientists have found a way, but then something goes wrong. Perhaps even sabotage because an enemy of Thane's knows he's there and wants to take him out. There's all kinds of possibilites.

I like it! I would love to see more of hanar and drell societies I would also like to see female drell.

It's garbage cause not only is microsoft screwing every live member 60 dollars a year but they're probably doing the same to developers.. (we're talking billions of live members) who knows how much they rip off developers on extra licensing royalties

if its such a hassle for devs to release updates or DLC, no wonder only major titles only see content.. no wonder MS had to start bribing devs.. its backwards

The Fans Pay for the service, that should be good enough. why discourage devs from releasing content

I wonder if one of the bioware guys can tell us what goes into releasing DLC, and how much it costs them per package.

FouCapitan wrote...

I also hear that it costs developers money to get DLC certified and hosted on XBL.
Maybe Microsoft is even making royalties off DLC?! O_o which is just pure garbage.

Why's this garbage?  Microsoft owns and runs the servers they're hosting the content on, it costs money to run and maintain those servers.  Sony does the same thing for PSN.

Anyway I believe the shadow broker was the last DLC :-(

Based on absolutely nothing.  BioWare will probably announce it when they release the final DLC for Mass Effect 2, just like they announced Witch Hunt was the final DLC for DA:O.

aria t loak recruit and loyalty mission red sand run dlc! imagine having to gain arias loyalty by carrying a big amount of red sand to her customers around the galaxy, you can battle space pirates and drug smugglers, also the epic fight can take place when you go back to omega and tell aria you got the job done but the blue suns blood back and eclipse mercs are the ones you have to kill in order to keep her alive

This might be a dumb idea, but I feel sorry for the quarians, and I would love to see them outside their suits. How about a DLC to help them find a world to settle on? Maybe even retake their homeworld from the geth through some diplomatic process (the geth do not need that particular planet, find another....). That way they have a place to put their children and non combatants, leaving the flotilla, arguably one of the most powerful fleets in the galaxy, ready to strike the reapers in ME3.

I mean shepherd should be thinking a war is coming let's start getting things ready now, that should be the future focus of DLCs. Making alliances, get the quarians a new homeworld, help the krogan unite, things that will make an impact when reapers invade rather than side missions like Lair of the Shadow Broker or Project Overlord.

Unfortunately this would be a major power shift for the entire game universe, probably way too big for a dlc,

but not too big for an expansion.

Reconciling with Ash or Kaidan would be nice too. I also like the aquatic hannar world idea posted earlier.

On a side note, I let the rachni live in ME1, I wonder how they will come in to play in ME3, will the queen create an army and help me out when I need them against the reapers?

I don't think there will be more recruit's DLC - there's no space in the team screen, agreed with hanar, healing thane, underwater environment and rachni :D

I expect that any DLC will not be focused on a current squadmate. An Alliance mission that takes us to Mars could be good. A Pinnacle Station 2 could work, but it would need to incorporate a story to actually bridge ME2 and ME3 - maybe an arena on Omega?

No new team mates, but with a new quarian homeworld the non combatants can be placed on the planet to found a new society. Meanwhile the well armed flotilla can attack the reapers without fear of losing their whole race if they lose. This gives shepherd a valuable and powerful fleet of warhsips to attack the reapers, that sort of recruiting.

The same can be said for uniting the krogans. United they can fight the reapers better than they can as individual clans. This gives shepherd soldiers for the reaper attack which we know will come in ME3. As I said, that kind of recruiting.

I think the dlc should take the position of "War is coming against us all, now what can shepherd do to make the galaxy as a whole stronger and more prepared."

More planets and socialization with other interesting species...

For example more female krogan and turians.... havent seen any.

Turian home planet would be interesting
Hannar world would be cool probably look like manaan in kotor 1
and maybe more of the citadel crime.

maybe even add dialogue for characters like legion and garrus- he almost never talks he is always calibrating weapons...

and new characters to!

batarain pirate would be sick

throws these in me3 if you cant make room :P

I agree with most of these. I will have someone close this and then take the ones I really agree with and post a more detailed look into them. Hopefully Chris or someone will post on it. So get your ideas in.

It could be interesting if the Virmire survivor DLC allowed you to make a huge decision (Death or just wreck the relationship). In LOTSB I liked the asari until you-know-what. It would be interesting if you could actually choose between the old survivor and the new person (make the survivor do something shady (maybe he/she got upset over your decisions, thinks he/she is helping you or is just confused/desperate/sad/angry) so not everyone would choose him/her). Personally I'd like if the other person was one of the two Batarians from BDTS (or some other character for those who killed them both, maybe Cerberus releated). They're seemingly evil yet helping them could be a huge paragon act

Also the general world update/replay adder would be great. Add more dialogue for teammates, add a handful of sidemissions around the galaxy, make a new pinnacle station with never ending gameplay of combat and mini-games

For those of you who want to show your support for Ashley and Kaidan DLC specifically, my sig banner links to the Kaidan and Ashley DLC Support Group, and in the Official Gameplay Forum (Spoilers Warning), there's a Kaidan and Ashley DLC Wishlist, where you can discuss ideas and such.

I've seen it mentioned quite a bit on this thread and am trying to rally supporters.  Image IPB

Supporters ? Don't you think it's a little late for that ?

I'm sure there's more ME2 DLC coming, but the time to influence BW on the actual content these DLC will entail is long over.

We can speculate how the upcoming DLC will turn out, but the planning stage for them surely is long over and done by now.

I finally have the time to play through the shadow broker. I will like to say this to the development team that was one of your best add-on for mass effect universe. Can we have another DLC which reflect on our past? So this is what I propose.

1. War Hero: - we get to visit the planet that we saved during our early military career which will be Elysium. Get to interact with some high key officinal.

2. Sole survivor: - Revisit to the planet Akuze to really put all that went wrong behind you for good.

3. Ruthless: - Things you did back on Torfan come back to haunt you making you revisit the planet Torfan once again.

4. Spacer:- you get to sit and finally chat with your mum tell her all you trouble and how you don’t think you will be making it back the next time you leave on you grand mission to save the universe

5. Earth-Born: - you finally make it back to earth to look for a old friend who you stick to gather during your rough childhood in the slums of Earth.

6. Colonist: - here same like the spacer; you get to meet the family the look after you when your family and friends get slaughter.

7. We finally get to meet Admiral Hackett in person at fifth fleet HQ (Arcturus station). Note this, should begin the chase to find either Ashley or Kaidan to have the chance to continue the romance story into ME2 for those fans out there who have be left out. During your talks or I should say debriefing with Admiral Hackett you learn that Ashley or Kaidan have be assign to a planet near the boarding and there have lost contact with the planet and you have to come and save them as usually. This way the development team would not have to put out with alot of disappointing fans of trying to come up with Ashley story DLC and Kaidan story DLC.

im also hopeing for more DlCs involving Captain Kirrahe of the 3rd Infiltration Regiment STG (special task group) since i made sure he and his team made it out alive on Virmire after nuking Saren's cloning base and hopes he and my Shepard might have the opportunity to work together again in the future.

And let's not forget Balak, leader of the batarian terrorist group that almost crashed Asteroid X57 on the human colony of Terra Nova and Shepard did ask him who is in charge of the batarian's terrorist actions, it is likely that Balak, as well as other batarian terrorist groups, answer to a higher authority, maybe the Reapers?

^I did what you say, I just would prefer that not everything evil was tied to the Reapers. That is to much like Ragnarok or something from Middle-Earth, where all of the good in the universe fight all of the bad. Personally, I think Balak was just some crazy ideological terrorist who was a complete assh*ole and had to be killed. That's it.

so when will we get new DLC? it will be the last one for 2010. I guess or we have to wait for little longer? because we got DLC almost every two months since April. no matter what it is, it will be October or December. I don't expect something big like shadow broker. but I wish that it wouldn't be weapon or armor pack. I want some story driven DLC like overlord again if it wouldn't be DLC which will make a bridge to ME 3.
