What's next for DLC?

Places we've never been - like Pallaven, Thessia, Kahje, etc.
More Armor and Weapon packs.
A DLC about Thane. Helping him find a cure wrapped up in an important story.
Virmire Survivor DLC (throw Admiral Hackett in there, too. He's awesome.)
I'm sure Bioware has some awesome stuff planned. I look forward to what's in store.

Some like:
+20% Power Damage
+15% Faster Health Regeneration
+15% Storm Speed
Increases headshot damage by 15%
Reduces the recharge time of powers by 15%
Reduces delay before shields start recharging by 20%
Oh, and I hope we'll get a cool helmet that's something like the original Mass Effect helmet, besides the default one.

Or maybe a cool sci-fi eye patch, like with Old Snake.

Probably not for a while, because of several factors, I'm guessing:
- The constant begging for LotSB to be relased (imagine just how similar it'd be if it was announced they were doing a VS DLC? They wound up locking the thread).
- The fact that they're working on (probably) the import of ME 2 to the PS3.
- The fact that we just got LotSB a month ago (yes, I realize that DA:O got two DLC's within a short span, but they're two different dev. teams).
- Perhaps they're not sure what one they want to do next.

I cant think that forums will actually influence Prod. That wouldnt be good business.
While I'm sure the import is taking a major part of Bioware, you can't forget that they have several studios around the world. And after all, it's just a port.
DLC was probably planned months in advance. I work in QA and DLC is pitched at the very beginning of FPP(second "pitch" with several working prototypes and "maps".
But hey, I`ll just be glad when they announce it. I'm still just guessing though

,i really hope that a new dlc will include things like the Alliance,Citadel and Kaiden/Ashley, and with some politics a mission about Kaiden/Ashley and a some space battles.

A new sniper rifle that packs a punch as strong as the Widow, fires as fast as the Viper, and holds the same amount of ammo as the Mantis?
Because the Widow is the only weapon in the original game not made obsolete with DLC Weapons. Alright, the Revereant may still be valid.
As for my hopes for the next DLC? Man Lair of the Shadow Broker spoiled me. Now I expect another Lair quality DLC. Ever since I beat ME2 I'd wanted to fight someone who used unique class specific powers and Lair gave me that.
I'd actually love a combat mission against more elite soldiers. The Broker's private army was cool but their AI was still the same old same old. They used flashbangs but didn't provide support well for their team. I'd like to see grenades used to flush us out, teams breaking off to flank you and your team. Distractions! Like a YMIR mech in the center coming at you, tanking, while cloaked Infiltrators move in around the sides and attack from behind.
Clearly this must mean we have to fight the STG....or rogue STG members.

I couldnt agree more! There is no need whatsoever for anymore weapons/armour/power upgrades until the AI is improved. Even Insanity is ridiculously easy now, with harbinger providing the only real challenge. Grenades and cloaked infiltrators attempting to flank at every opportunity gets my vote!

But watching them throw flash bangs into walls to bounce back on themselves was oooooh so amusing.

Yeah....I've got nothing against more weapons (seeing as how the last batch wasn't too bad, actually), but from this point out, I'd like bridge building DLC. If they want to relase the rest of the "alternate appearance packs" or "new weapons/armor", then that's their decision.
But, I know that I too am looking forward to the next "LotSB" quailty DLC they release. I'd like something wtih Ash/Kaiden, to at least rebuild that bridge. And sure, it'd be nice to have Hackett in there. I don't think we're going to get anything involving the Genophage or the Quarrian/Geth issue, because I have a feeling they're going to save that for ME 3. But aside from something with Ash/Kaiden, I don't know what else they could do if they were saving the Genophage or the Quarrian/Geth tension for ME 3.

And have them throw everything they have against us, from infantry, to tanks and APCs, to gunships and drone flocks, to air strikes and artillery.
Have the mission begin by infiltrating the enemy base, followed by assassination of a general / scientist / VIP, followed by a hair rising escape / running battle. Something like the sniper flashback mission from COD4 Modern Warfare... Only better.
Hell... for bonus points, combine this with the re-introduction of Ash / Kaidan, to allow us to have someone with actual dialogue during the mission. Perhaps it could be an Alliance black op against the Batarians?

My new favorite is current squad DLC. It feels weird that my squad is just sitting in Normandy telling me to talk with them later. Is that when the reapers attack? Wouldn't you want to do something when you still have time? On top of everything I doubt ME3 will begin right where ME2 ends (Atleast to accommodate newcomers) with the squadmates you have
So 12 loyalty-esque missions with plenty of choices affecting ME3. In every mission you can let the squadmate go or ask him/her to stay with you. That way can choose who you want in your team from the start of ME3 and those people left on Normandy get new dialogue to replace the "Talk to you later". Not much but 1 or 2 conversations and a satisfying conclusion instead of "Talk later", possibly new romances
Those 12 missions could involve a lot of places and people so it wouldn't feel as limited as ones like Overlord and LOTSB are (though they'd need smaller scale with some recycling so the file isn't too big). I guess ME3 would need default choices for people who don't get the DLC too.

This would be old news to any computer RPG player, but have certain mobs have a boss in them. Many in ME2 have this, a named combatant or a higher ranked merc with more health, but have this person give passives to the mob around them. The mob can actually be smarter with their boss, such as gaining ground when you're in cover regaining your shields. Killing these lesser bosses would break morale and they'd lose their passives and some of their intelligence (since no one's coordinating the attack).
Simple tactic to introduce to the game.
