No. They won't give us a clue.hangmans tree wrote...
Hi, dont want to start another thread just to ask is there any news on new story-dlc yet? I have in mind uninstalling ME2 coz its taken almost 20 gig of my tiny HD space. If there is something new in a month, I'll wait, if not I'll say good bye and reinstall in 2011 probably...

I'd speculate that we won't see any more DLC until after ME 2 launches for the PS3.
I support that.
If they're to include all the current DLCs for the PS3 version, it could be too much work and too little time to recreate the newest DLC for PS3 on time... Unless they're already working on one :-)

i sincerely believe that the lair will become a central command center in me3 and that shepard will be a kind of liason between cerberus, the alliance and the council, therefore i would very much like if i could costomize yhe lair by ading some plants, prothean artifacts, different lighting, elcor/turian/asari/quarian/... sculptures/paintings, equipment of different types and so on and so on.
the same with customization of course goes with N SR2 as well.
please reply!

i want to cusomize the shadowbrokers lair cause liara comes from a beautiful appartmen and office on illium to working in a century old dump, i cannot understand how she can work there as it is very old and rundown, and asari are known for there rich culture and art, so for her working in such an empty space seems unlikely to me, i wish for a dlc where shep can go and help liara with different missions gathering intel and upgrading, expanding and customize the lair, preferably recruiting some assistants for liara giving her the opportunity to expand her network.

Do you mean CONCEIVED?
Also, I'm sure Shepard has better things to do than put up new wallpaper and criticize fung shui. It's Mass Effect, not Hello Kitty or Decorating Mama.

I would prefer a long-winded DLC, one that will take hours and hours to complete and one that has intense combat scenes.

I really want a new DLC to come out soon, i've completed the game multiple times, having relationships with all the female characters that I can. If one don't come out soon, I'm gonna do my nut.

In all seriousness, I dunno why Bioware doesn't do something like a romance pack because it would probably sell really well, and for little effort to develop as well. Reading over all these forums, you'd think everyone hates every aspect of every Bioware game except for the romances.

The idea has potential. Think about it. Whatever mission it is that Shep's team goes on, it's important/urgent enough to warrant an interruption to Shep's main mission. Also, the time period between Sheppard's departure to Joker getting up (after being knocked down) to Sheppard arriving back to the Normandy is was left relatively open, so a long, epic mission (like LotSB) could fit into that timeframe. Additionally, there is freedom to create a mission that utilizes all of Sheppard's team, some of his team, ME1 characters, or anything in between. Best of all, chronologically, it is still firmly placed within the timeframe of ME2, which allows Bioware a bit of narrative freedom, in terms of avoiding anachronisms (which LotSB has a hint of). Not to mention, it can help 'complete' the ME2 story while simultaneously building up to ME3 (unlike LotSB, which, even though it is best played after the Suicide Mission, remains somewhat ambigiously placed sometime after Shep's first arrival on Illium.)

Romance Packs seem too....I don't know...tasteless? Romance is something Bioware's never done by itself. If there was to be an expansion to the romantic subplots, akin to LotSB, then there'd need to be some kind of story to go with it, and I doubt they'd just slap on some cheap throw-away story. Perhaps new DLC will be included with the PS3 version? If so, then I'd expect to see it shortly afterwards on the 360.

I'd like nothing more than to take down Cerberus itself, would be good to see Sheppard as the new Elusive Man. Maybe then Earth could have a true leader, and not be controlled by the useless Alliance.

- Virmire Survivor pack: Continue story with Kaidan or Ashley (along the lines of Liara in LotSB).

It has held up incredibly well and is STILL better than most current games out there..
The announcement of the next ME 2 episode or its release would be a nice birthday gift, no?

It will be two months since LOTSB on the 7th, which is a mere three days away.Ashrite wrote...
has it been 2 month now since lotsb? shouldn't there be an announcement any time soon? or is bioware taking a vecaition?
I actually think it's the PS3 version which is causing the silence, but then again, that's wild speculation. Who knows? Maybe BioWare have some sort of surprise scheduled to be delivered sometime this month. Remember, ME1 turns three on the 20th, so you never know.
