Can't lie...another Tuesday passes and no new "news"...I am dissappointed. I have been hoping that we would at least hear about what they are working on next for us by now...whether it was an alternate appearance pack, bridging dlc or full on expansion - just something that said, "Hey we think you guys will be excited about what is next for DLC!" would be great. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...maybe next week.

You are aware that it is like what only 11am-ish over in Edmonton right now?

Still plenty of time for them to say something (if they have anything to say that is)

Its now 3:15pm here (In Edmonton), no dice on new news.

DA2 is in testing phase right now, ME3 is the "suprise".

Considering how long we still have till ME3 I could see one more DLC pack coming out. (January would be my guess)

would say dlc that focused on the aftermath of the collector fight but due to the suicide option

kinda seems like it would not fit well

i would not mind seeing some missions witch focus on rebuilding the council station *cant think of the name atm its the main station with the geck attack*

also maybe some mission that would send you to earth maybe to get a medal or visit some 1

An idea that just came to me recently involving the citadel.

As construction crews are busy rebuilding Tayseri Ward, they discover a previously inaccessible area of the Citadel, one which lies deeper in the heart of the station than anyone has ever been to. Shepard receives a request to recon the place, and to see how far it will lead him. Taking his team, he encounters previously unknown defence drones which block his path. He also encounters puzzles that he must solve in order to progress. When he finally reaches his destination, he finally discovers the fate of the Prothean scientists who rewrote the keepers.

Something with the citadel would be cool. But i'd like something that deals more personally with the characters involved, like SB or the loyalty missions. Those were my favorites because the characters got to... well, 'let their hair down' so to speak, and really express themselves. In almost every other mission, the squad members take a back seat.

I realize why the squad members take a back seat, and i'm pretty sure it's wishful thinking. But nothing ever got done by admitting it was just a thought.

The dlc I want more than anything is something with Wrex. I understand that might be complicated for people whom Wrex was killed in ME1, but I would just love to see an in depth dlc focusing on him and the krogan, returning as a squad member, maybe even some interaction with the old crew like Tali and Garrus. It always bugged me Garrus and Wrex never acknowledged each other during our little reunion on Tutchunka.

We know the next DLC will be somewhat similar to Lair of the Shadow
Broker, a bridging DLC. It made me think, one of the qualms I have with
ME2 is how small, and uneventful (compared to what I'd optimally want)
hub worlds are, particularly Omega which I thought was the coolest with
Ilium, arguably the biggest and most satisfying one. Lair of the Shadow
Broker gave even more life into Ilium, I'd love for further bridging DLC
to take place in such hub worlds and make us explore other areas, show
us other sides of the planets with cool quests with twists like what we
recently got.

And it reminds me of Omega again, besides what I've
already told, I always found Aria to be a very cool character and -
along Omega itself - fit with the overall mood and feel of ME2. Darker,
the Terminus systems, THE place of the outlaws and gangs, Aria being the
one who managed to 'own' Omega for some time now, locked up in her
club, the ideal place for dirty happenings such station would encourage,
she has confidence and attitude, badass. I think it's a shame we don't
get more of her, more missions or something, work for her. A bridging
DLC dealing with her strugglings in Omega (considering you already
helped her a bit and gained a bit of her trust) and/or bad happenings
(which still relates to you working with Aria, would be awesome, see us
see some real Omega action. We got poisoned by a xenophobic bartender,
almost went into a firefight with batarians while getting inside
Afterlife being the most representative happenings of Omega, but I feel
we should see more. I remember reading Ascention, the way Omega was
depicted seemed a little more hostile, walking in the streets being
dangerous, a bar owner hanging the head of one of his victims on the
wall and how groups of people could just enter someone and threaten to
tear the place down. It feels like Omega has more to tell, hopefully. As
a side note, having Aria as a squad mate in ME3 would be awesome.

Otherwise since there's likely more than another one coming - they spoke of a
round of bridging DLC - the Citadel is an obvious one, even more
considering it being relatively small in the game, showing other areas
would be neat. Tuchanka could be cool too but the least of my concerns.
Maybe the Quarian fleet? I'd love to spend some more time there.

But seriously, as much as I like the characters, what I want is DLC that
ensures we get more of the universe, of the place we visit and people
we meet, cool vistas and such. Like I said, I love the characters, but
the reason I love ME so much is the whole universe, so I want to sure to
visit some places a character oriented DLC wouldn't work so well with.
As much as I like Wrex, it would probably be on Tuchanka, and like I
said, I'd rather have 10 DLC on Omega and 5 on
the Citadel or the Migrant Fleet, as I think these places have far more
to offer than a giant wasteland - don't get me wrong, I still like the
place a lot. Same with Kaiden or Ashley - it wouldn't work anyway as
some people wouldn't even be able to play it with their character, and
what would they do on places like Omega or the Migrant Fleet?

I wouldn't mind having something that ties major events in Cerberus Daily News into the over arching story line. Dealing with the Raloi or the war on Garvug, I don't know, something like that.

Bad idea in my opinion. Not very exciting and a lot of work for what will be relatively limited content per playthrough.

Feels like Bioware decided to dump ME. No news, no Bioware staff on ME forums, no interviews, no DLC plans. Time to move on and vote for other games on VGA, thanks to the fact that this year was blooming with them.

Relax, dude. I'm sure they're either waiting for the PS3 release or the VGA's, which is probably the ultimate reason the past couple of months have been rather uneventful since LOTSB surfaced.

Indeed. That is why such pack would most likely not be profitable. A lot of people could care less about these romance things, how it is implemented in the game mostly sucks anyway. It's not neccesarily big ME fans who'd buy this (I'm one for sure and wouldn't waste money on this), but big fans of the romance thing, which I doubt there's enough to make this profitable.

I can't believe there won't be at least one more "bridging DLC" in the works, possibly more - the story demands it. I think the major reason why there hasn't been any additional content of any kind since LotSB is because of the PS3 edition - they possibly won't even announce more content (either full missions or weapon packs/alternative appearance packs) until the PS3 version is out.

Reason I reckon this is PS3 version has presumably gone gold so no changes can be made now, and they don't want to annoy potential new PS3 customers by releasing new DLC stuff in the meantime, when they can portray the version they are actually releasing in January (which has all the 360/PC DLC included) as a sort of ultimate or GOTY edition. Once that's out, then the DLC will start to flow again, hopefully at least!

Alternate Appearance Pack #2 for Mass Effect 2.

Tali gets her new armor, Jacob gets his Corsair armor and Legion gets his hole fixed.

Alternate Appearance Pack - Shepard

Lighter versions of N7 armor, less bulky (sans shoulder, etc), catsuit-like, skintight kind of armor.
Similar to the light armor in ME1, maybe.

Great for FemSheps who don't want to look like Robocop or The Power Rangers or whatever. Image IPB

I doubt there will be any more real DLC for ME2. Maybe just the Appearance packages to complete the set, AKA. Having a new one for every member and not just the three.

There should be more as mr Muzyka made a big thing about how there will be a lot of content which bridges the gap between the stories so far only the lotsb has done a bit the other pack dont really have anything to do with the story ( weapon packs etc ) but dunno if its just me but i like the zaeed and kasumi pack etc but they needed and if anymore are to come in the future for the chars to be interactable and romace options etc as it will add a real zest and more interest to the already outstanding story. Cuz im sure im not alone when after 3 sentences both zaeed and kasumi give the same " come back later i'm sure ill have more to talk about etc " not that there bad pack cuz there far from it just a few thoughts. anyone else think along the same lines ? :)

Hello, for me in this moment bioware not lonch any dlc, because in the first mons the 2011 mass effect 2 come to ps3.

I like look and playing an expansion pack and not dlc for mass effect 2, and i like in mass effect 3 the possibility to improve the game from the use of expansion pack.
