Interesting.  Unfortunately I don't have permission to view this group on the forum.  Any word for a release date?

Don't worry too much about it. That's just what LordUzur wants the next DLC to be.

What I'd like to see is a hub world mission pack. Just something that adds little side missions to major worlds ( think like Conrad, Dr. Michelle's blackmailer, scanning the keepers, etc) to flesh them out more. I loved how in ME, if you talked to the right people beforehand, you could make your first visit to the citadel markets an orgy of violence (3 consecutive gunfights *evil grin*)

Some should not be available until after completetion, that way they could qualify as bridging material. Plus it would be easy to make for BW as it presumably would cost significantly less to hire capt what's-his-face on Omega to hire you to massacre a metric crapload of Vorcha than to hire Carrie Ann Moss to do a couple lines of dialogue, especially since with some vocal effects you can hire the same mid-card VA to voice 2-3 different generic NPC's.

Plus, I really, really want to shoot someone (that isn't Geth) on the Presidium..

Also, I really think they should release some of the other stuff that's already out (terminus, blackstorm, DP promo stuff) because it's all available illegitimately for free, yet I wait patiently to give BW my money.....

An idea that just came to me recently involving the citadel.

As construction crews are busy rebuilding Tayseri Ward, they discover a previously inaccessible area of the Citadel, one which lies deeper in the heart of the station than anyone has ever been to. Shepard receives a request to recon the place, and to see how far it will lead him. Taking his team, he encounters previously unknown defence drones which block his path. He also encounters puzzles that he must solve in order to progress. When he finally reaches his destination, he finally discovers the fate of the Prothean scientists who rewrote the keepers.

Thats a really great idea ^_^

Indeed, very much liking this idea. Any kind of expansion to the Citadel would be a good DLC, hoping to see something like this in the future.

I think seeing as we're in the buildup to the PS3 of ME2 in Jan, and there's rumors spreading of Bioware's VGA announcement that any news of any sort of DLC is put on hold till it comes out on PS3, probably a marketing thing I guess.

But I'm pretty sure we're in store for at least another DLC in the new year, hoping that there is more to come after that.

Judging from the release history we are either due one or two small DLCs. Then a larger DLC. Hopefully those of us who did not manage to get the Terminus Armor and the M-490 weapon it will be part of one of the next small DLCs to be coming out next. The other small one will be likely a second appearance pack for more of the squad.

I would definitely pay to play something like this. Anything that can expand the storyline and bridge to the future game is a wonderful idea in my book. Hopefully they'll nail the squad banter like they did for Shep and Liara in LOTSB.

i'd be happy with anything, to be honest. they have given us more DLC than most quality single player games. i own a 360, and have bought every single thing that they've made available for purchase. i trust the company enough to know that whatever they make, i'll appreciate.

with that said, i'd be surprised if they released anything else, as they have released a ****load of content, so far.

and with that said, please release something more. i'd be happy with a simple clothing pack.

Appearance packs don't really do much for me, especially since I have no more dialogue to go through. Gun packs are also kinda useless since there's no place to test out the guns except in combat, and by then I'll be stuck with guns I don't like, potentially. It might be easier if in-game, there were some visible stats to be looked at. If it comes to a small, cheap pack, I'd prefer a set of N7 missions, as long as I could come out a few bucks ahead instead of wasting money on fuel and probes. Of course, it's most likely a really big pack coming up since it's been "so long" since Liara of the Shadow Broker came out. ;-)

I'm thinking. The developers just CAN'T win.

They talk about Lair of the Shadow Broker, and everyone gets excited.

It takes seemingly forever to release(due to it still being made at the time of announcement) and everyone got antsy and pissed off until it finally came out.

Now, we sit here waiting on another DLC with no announcement whatsoever.

I'm sure people are going to get antsy and pissed just because they haven't heard anything yet. Course, when we do, I'll bet the DLC won't take nearly as long to release.

God, I need an Alt Appearance pack or something to hold me over. Give me a reason to start my 11th playthrough.

I've seen and thought up a few things I'd like to see in DLCs. Of course, some are not exactly likely. But I can dream, right?

1) Tomb of Lazarus. Shepard does some investigating into the Lazarus Project. Over the course of the missions, he learns more about how he was brought back, the technology behind it, how Cerberus gained it, and hints that the Suicide Mission wasn't the true reason for his resurrection. Cerberus had/has much bigger plans for Shepard...

2) Armored Appearance Pack. Like the Alternate Appearance Pack, but covers all twelve companions. An outfit of combat armor is provided for all the characters, ideally complete with a helmet for those places with nasty or negligible atmosphere

3) Banter Pack This would be the largest and most difficult to make, as it would require the return of all the VAs. Basically it would put in banter between squad mates like in DA. In addition, squaddies would give input on certain events, and their opinion when Shepard has to make a tough call (like with the genophage data)

4) Spectre of the Past This would be aimed at veterans of the first Mass Effect game. Basically, it would be a half dozen or so missions involving places and characters from the first game, to show what has changed in two years. These would be a bit more in-depth than those sorry excuses we got in ME 2. Such missions could include: an interview with Emily Wong. Revisiting Eden Prime and/or Noveria. A mission involving Dr Michel, a mission or series of missions involving whoever died on Virmire. This could include meeting family or loved ones still dealing with the death.

5) Bug Hunt This would have two components: First it would add a number of N7 missions involving Collector activity in the Terminus Systems: Stumbling upon deals with mercs, listening outposts, small bases, and so on. Second would be three or four missions send via email from the Illusive Man to raid Collector facilities for intel and to "take the fight to the Collectors"

6) Suicide Mission: Extended Edition Like the title says, this would be a longer version of the Suicide Mission. Ideally, this would double or even triple the length of it. In addition, a new Final Challenge would be provided

7) Virmire Survivor DLC: Many people want this. Me too.

I am pretty disappointed in Mass Effect 2 DLC team.  No DLCs for 2 months??? And some people are saying that it could be as much as 4?  Nothing like keeping your fan base interested :?

Here is an idea: how about dlc based on shepards service history. E.g shepard is given the task of liberating an allaince data station from mercs. Through the mission, shepards finds her/his file and has ,playable, flashbacks of service history. Who doesn't want to playthrough the battle of akuze or survive thraswer mall attack.

If not a good idea, I support Virmier Surviver DLC. In fact, I want that dlc even if my idea is made.

I hope your joking about your disappointment. Sarcasm's hard to convey on the web.

I'd like to bring up they gave us a new DLC every month from January to September.

Personally I think it's a damn shame that the Blackstorm Heavy weapon and not to mention the Dr. Pepper promotional helmets haven't been made available in a DLC pack. It's one of the best designed weapons i've seen and for it to be squandered away along with the aforementioned gear to a select few is borderline (for the lack of a better word) blasphemy. The hoods could be polished a tad stat wise to compete with the Kestrel armor set pieces, but for people who, like me, gets jitters when having a diverse array of combat gear and weapons this is PURE gold.

Obviously they wanted to give people an incentive to buy the products and the pre-order version but that's long overdue. The design and effort that have been put into this should be shared with the rest of the world.
I for one would gladly pay to see this goodness released as a DLC pack like the Arc Projector or Firepower pack.

Apologies if this have been mentioned before.

Yeah, the Blackstorm is such a great weapon. I don't think we will see it released in DLC though, not because EA/Bioware are evil and stingy and want to keep it from players, but because they entered into legally binding contracts with the retailers (Gamestop) to keep the items exclusive to that one-time promotion.

Dear Biowares, please at least give us a micro-dlc. I am seriously jonesing for a hit. of ME2.

This is what Bioware said about Lair of the Shadow Broker: "It is the first piece of DLC to begin to expand the story in preparation for Mass Effect 3". This obviously means that there will be more to follow. So if you want some quality stuff like LotSB you have to be a bit patient. Unless of course what you really want is another lame armor or appearance pack.
