I would be interested in seeing a resolution to the following problems.

1. Geth/Quarian War.
2. Genophage
3. Shepards Spectre status, maybe a mission or something, DLC with Spectre gear would be nice

Spectre Mission could be interesting and could work because you could fit it in pretty much anytime after you get your status back, meaning you don't need to have completed the game, which is something bioware obviously seem to like how their DLC work

Its also something that shouldn't massively effect (no pun intended) ME3's story, therefore those who don't buy it don't miss out on a major chunck of plot when its released.

As for things like the Geth/Quarian war, the Genophage and the Rachni, these are all things too important to the plot that if certain players don't buy the DLC they'll have missed a lot of story. That and I'm sure Bioware are saving these stories for ME3 otherwise there won't be as much of a broad spectrum of plots.
Don't get me wong, I would LOVE them to be released as DLC, the more ME the better in my opinion. But from Bioware's point of view, they'd probably just be taking from the ME3 and have to fill the blanks with more planet scanning :P

But yeah, like the Spectre idea

if you go paragon, you get your spectre status back whenever you first visit anderson.

because of that, there will be no dlc for it.

It wouldn't be a mission for getting your status back, as you've said, its already easy to get. I was thinking more along the lines of the council giving you a mission, or anderson if they're dead

I think one of the doctors said in an interview that they are aware fans want to have their Kaiden/Ashley DLC and they are "looking in to it". Take that for what it's worth, it was on an IGN podcast or something.

I'd go with that, it could work.
I would say that having a mission to do with Cerberus wouldn't work if you did the paragon ending, but the other DLC missions are for Cerberus, or at least instigated by them.

I like the idea for class specific armor, each with its own look and traits, that would be pretty cool.
Having a Squadmate armor pack would be good, i do feel it looks a bit silly when you've got shep in full armor looking like a tank and then you've got squadmates like jack wearing next to nothing, (not that i don't like seeing a bit of flesh now and then but) it kinda ruins the feel of some battles like the seriousness of the danger etc, or is that just me?

It'd be nice too if they added a better range of casual clothing as well, on PC its pretty easy to get a patch to give you all the clothes but xbox players are limited to 5 styles all of which aren't that special. Anything for an excuse for another play through ey?  :P

A new casual clothing-pack, and armours for the ladies would be nice. I am a bit fed-up with Jack's nekkid skinny frame. Looking at her makes me feel seriously cold:pinched:. The first clothing-pack fixed some of it, but there MUST be an armour-choice too imho. Some fan-fiction has already mentioned the ridiculous non-armours of Miranda and Samara.

While they're at it, they could also include some sort of "wig-cabinet" to change hairstyles and make-up for Shepard. All in all, I would like to be able to put some variation in the general appearance of Shepard, not only the armours and the, rather limited, choice in civvies. (not talking gibbed save-games here) Dressing-up is one of the great things in RPG's, and it has gotten snowed-under quite a bit. It became all too glaring when I recently started to play KOTOR 1 again..the sheer choice in accessoiries, weapons and whatnot,  in that game is mind-boggling, and absolute great!

As a mission-oriented DLC, I, like many others, would like to see some stuff bridging ME2 to ME3. Or some mission involving real detective-spying-film noire stuff. Shep IS a spectre after all, sort of a MI6 spook. buuut..I think that may be pushing it a bit too far away from the "shooter-RPG" that ME2 is.

I am afraid that there are not many players that see the humour in a..say.... Monkey-Island-ish" ( cherish the thought..combining wire, corks ,a dead fish and a right pauldron of a blue-sun, to construct a hyper-drive....:P:lol: ) adventure game made out of ME...

Bottomline: I would like to see a mission/DLC with the depth of those in KOTOR, but much more light hearted... Shadowbroker came bloody close to a genious "grim'n gritty", the next should be some whimsical thing..just to balance all grimness out, Bioware has already proven they can do that..take Mordin's well meant, yet ill-timed advises on procreation if Shep pursues a love-interest, or the song"n dance he performs... For most of us, real-life isnt constant strife, so, why not for Shep?.

Nice post Diakrite,

I agree, new armor and clothes for all squadmates and shep and hair/makeup options for shep (maybe for squadmates too, although miranda is the only one you could actually change the hair of as there seems to be a lack of hair in ME2)

A mission with a light hearted touch would be nice too, something that warms the coggles, but not too much though, after all the galaxy is about to get a serious beating when the reapers turn up and Shepard has to lead the defence,so things can't be too cheery cos it would spoil the tension (a bit) the game has built up.

What about flashback missions based upon your psychological profile? War Hero fights in the Blitz, Sole Survivor fights the sandworms from Dune, Ruthless leads the massacre on Torfan.

I have a feeling that BioWare announcing ME3 is going to put the brakes on ME2 DLC just like they did for DA:O when they announced DA2.

Honestly, would it be so bad to have some Shepard return home DLC. We spend so much time building and rebuilding this guy, what about some memories from before (flashbacks, ME prequels,etc.). I liked the investigator feel in the Kasumi stolen memory DLC, I think a civilian Shepard could be pulled off.

LOL, Earthborn/Ruthless get to be in a gang and kill Batarians!!!!! YEAH!....they know what they did.

I hope Bioware read this thread, there's some awesome ideas flying around, most of which they could fit in and it wouldn't go against any possible stories people have made.

I was thinking in bed last night, what about a mission that had a space battle, say if the mission started as a destress call and then turned out to be a pirate trap when you get there. I was thinking you could be stood over jokers shoulder telling him what action to do, like the paragon option could be defensive which would show a sequence of the normandy doing evasive patterns and manovers to prepare for the next move, this option would take little damage to the nomandy but also little to the enermy. The neutral option could be a passive where the normandy is equally agressive and defensive, again balancing between damage deal and taken. The renegade option would be to take the normandy into an all out, head on assualt which would deal alot of damge to the enermy but also to the normandy. This could be a battle that could be about 5 or 6 of these sequences long, in like a turn based stategy style and each with its own outcome depending on what you chose to do and in which order you chose. Maybe if you have enough paragon/renegade point you can inspire joker/EDI to pull of an action that gives the normandy a massive advantage or do a special move. I think this would work much better than actually controlling the normandy yourself, i think you'll all agree that the sequenses approaching the collector base are much more impessive than controlling the skycar in LOTSB.
Then after the battle the the pirate leader could retreat to a nearby planet and you can the have some ground action

I wouldn't mind a DLC that allows your shepard to return home - maybe just a small sector of the Alliance base on earth or your family's house or whatever your origin story may be, and have a few remiencent moments. Maybe even have an investigation-type plot where someone either a random or close to you (again depending on origin story) had been the one who died and you have to uncover their murder...

I don't know... I'm just tossing things out there.

New DLC idea introduse new species that can be of some assisstance in mass effect 3. Shepard has to resolve first contact gone wrong (stupid turians again) Exept new species initially does well but is unaware of the immininent council reprisal. shepard has to laund on one of their worlds and has to convince them to stand down for their own survival.

No more downloadable content now. Too busy with Mass Effect 3 and hyping how much better it will be, etc. etc.

The Dragon Age team seems to care far more about connecting their series together than the Mass Effect series which was planned as a trilogy to begin with.

A dlc mission involving the repurcussions of uplifting a new species and what happens when it goes abit wonky(would be a really cool way to tie in the current daily news feeds) maybe only a renowned hero like shepard can ease the tensions and prevent another genophage type event from happening(though obviously not quite as bad) this could be a nice way to add a new ally race into the game for those who picked the other option with the raknii.

Awakening, Witch Hunt all have things that pertain to Dragon Age II. ME2 currently has Lair of the Shadow Broker, ME had nothing. There probably will be nothing now that ME3 has been announced. Good work everyone.
