No man, Admiral Hacket is one of the leaders of the Alliance Fleet. Why would he suddenly be a common footsoldier on Earth? Also, Hackett is American, not British.

I doubt Chris would be lying about them working on more DLC. And even if it's just one more DLC, I'll still be satisfied.



And maybe, just maybe, with ME3 being the final part of the trilogy they'll release a nice toolset as well. They won't really have to worry all that much about people breaking the game, since we won't be importing our saves after that. One can always hope anyway.

that would be SICK if like in the MAFIA 2 franchise they allowed us to play that guy on earth just before the attack or midway through the invasion just beginning leading up to that point he goes inside the tower

Admiral Hackett is Lance Henriksen. Certainly you should know him from the Alien's and Predator movies.

There is a lot of speculation as to whether the character in the vid would be a teammate and/or who he is played by. 

Honestly I think he's just a character to make us speculate, to cover the wait till the next announcement. Which is probably an expansion for ME2.

Bioware keeps saying that there's more DLC coming, and that we shouldn't be asking the question because they've already announced that there'd be more DLC. But I still think it's a legitimate question to ask if there will be more DLC. Bioware doesn't have the best track record in promises when it comes to DLC. If I remember correctly, KotOR was promised a lot of DLC, and all we got was one little planet to buy some extra supplies. And then ME 1 was a big disappointment with only 2 DLCs, and one of them being complete crap.



Still, I do believe Bioware when they say more is coming. It got off to a good start, with some real quality DLC missions. It's been a while since the last one though....

you're actually right about that but they've delivered this time - but i don't blame anyone for asking after the first one slap everyone in the face.

Wait for ME2 for the PS3 comes out before worrying whether or not more DLC is coming. They don't want to gice the PS3 owners anymore free DLC.

That's actually a good point. It would make sense for them to wait until the PS3 is out.

Mass Effect 3 isn't coming out for another year, but it could be delayed, so I think that there could be about one or two more DLC for ME2 and possibly one more weapon set.

Pretty much after Lair of the Shadowbroker came out and everyone asked "is this the end?". We said, no there is more coming then, and we're still saying there is more DLC coming.

Well lying is a rather strong word, but DA was supposed to be supported to for two years with "continuous" DLC. It wasn't. I would say to expect two small packs and two big packs, the last one have a DUN DUN DUN ending -> ME3.

It's not that he said they plan on releasing more DLC, he's very specifically saying they have things in the works, and they have strongly hinted at the kind of thing they will produce for us.

Me too. I just played a new ME1 playthrough with the express purpose of not romancing anyone in ME1, but I couldn't help it with Ash. I had to take...drastic action on Virmire, and it felt like a kick in the gut. My first and favorite playthrough is the one where I romanced Ashley and stayed faithful throughout ME2...I would love to get a chance to reconnect like Liaramancers got with LotSB.
