Wrong.  He very specifically said there is more DLC for Mass Effect 2 coming.

Very so, although what kind of DLC that is, we do not know. If we get more weapon packs...stupid.

I doubt we will see any new DLC for Mass Effect.

I'm not sure how much faith I would put in that what they said about DLC. I know different dev teams, etc. blah blah but DAO was supposed to have 2 years worth of DLC and they cut that off at less than a year because they wanted to shove DA2 down our throats. Not that DAO DLC was anywhere on par with ME2 DLC to begin with. At any rate, I'll believe it when they announce the next DLC is coming out and will be quite happy should they do so.

Good lord, there are some negative nancies around here. Chris just said it a couple days ago. There is more DLC on the way! I bet the next one is pretty much in the can, just waiting to be announced.

True. It's no longer a question of if there will be DLC, but when. I can't wait.

For now a nice weapons pack, or new costumes for my other squad mates. Perhaps later in the summer a mission that includes Kaiden/Ashley.

Nah.  I think we're going to get an honest to gosh mission DLC in Feb or March.

Wow, you must be some kind of genius.  Or maybe you've just read one of the zillions of quotes from BioWare developers saying they're going to release a series of DLC filling in the gap between ME2 and ME3.

The thing is that they announced a DLC at least every (other) month and there hasn't been anything for so long. Which means that even if they do announce something, it won't be released until next month...

They probably focused all their efforts to getting the PS3 version out and dropped everything else. Now that the PS3 game is ready, they show up in the forums to confirm a new one. Also, ME3 might have been pushed back for some reason and they want to spread the DLC.

Anyway, I really hope that they start working towards the ME3 storyline (as promised) and not release some random firewalker mission again...

Something maybe that ties in with the latest ME book! Something Cerberus-related perhaps? To explain how the Illusive Man left the Earth to be taken by the main thing he was fighting for throughout ME2!

From a marketing perspective, now is a prime time to announce some more DLC. With the announcement of Mass Effect 3, people who played ME2 are going to want to play it again. Also, seeing as Bioware can't reveal everything about ME3, news of soon-to-be-released DLC should take some of the pressure off. Between those two factors, this is a prime time to release or at least announce it.

Actually, it'd be better a week or two from now. ME3 was just announced. You got to let that important fact get around and simmer in gamers' heads.

You people really need to pay mroe attention. I'm glad you're happy and all, but me and otehr BioWarians (liek Jesse Houston off the top of my head) have said this before. Pretty much after Lair of the Shadowbroker came out and everyone asked "is this the end?". We said, no there is more coming then, and we're still saying there is more DLC coming.

Please, try to keep up.

That pretty much hits the nail on the head and sums up what I am thinking as well.

This is the perfect time to get the DLC ready to go. I have several friends who are for sure ready to go on new playthroughs and one just started buying all the DLC he missed so he could do it all together.

I think we will for sure hear something very soon. :)

Now I can't wait to know what new DLC will be out. Preferably not new armor/weapons packs, but some sort of mission or story-related post-Suicide-mission thing.

Argh, that reminds me, I need to do BDtS still--I keep forgetting in my cruising along in playthroughs of the first game @__@

Thanks for clearing all this up for us. Honestly I don't usually check forums, and had seen no updates on the ME2 site about future DLC so I had no idea. but thanks :D

Need alt appearance packs for rest of squad members, free love DLC and need bridge DLC packs (bridge events in ME2 to ME3), all in about 10 months...hmm, I dont see too much of this happening as we have gotten nothing lately.

I want a DLC that shows us earth before the events of ME3, Let me see how cool Earth looks. Show me some awesome locations like London, New York City, Tokyo, etc. You can even tie this in with the Ashley/Kaiden DLC.
