I have a feeling that a new DLC will be announced soon.

I have no proof, just a gut feeling.

Ashley/kaiden - a mission with the alliance that will probably act as bridge between ME2 and ME3.



Liara - Already done acts as a bridge between ME2 and ME3.



Tali - Perhaps but not sure on what can be done on that one.



Wrex - problems with rival clan and Wrex asks Shepherd to help. (would act as a bridge between ME2 and ME3)



Garrus - Could be getting Garrus into the spectures



there could an alliance mission which would be needed to link ME2 to ME3

Garrus becoming a spectre is something for ME3 as a nice way to wrap his storyline up ditto for kaiden/ashley it'd work more as a nice sidestory on earth or something thatn dlc imo, as for wrex chances are we'll have to do some sort of unification mission with him to gain the krogans help.

I think any dlc should give us the rest of the alt attires and any other items we may not have that were given as pre order bonuses and such along side a nice few missions that build up the threat to earth and feature characters we have met who will become more important in ME3.

My guess is a Ashley /Kaiden mission that helps mens things between them and Shep, plus sets the stage for him to work with whatever special tasks group Anderson starts from the "Retribution " book.



After that we'll do something that takes us back to Haedstrum's sun, whether it still involves Tali or not, since I think that is what the Reapers will use to get to us from dark space.



The Wrex unification mission sounds solid, I could see that too.



Regardless, I'm anxious for the next one whatever it may be.

Lair of the Shadow Broker proved temp. squad-mates work. Adding a new, permanent one at this stage would be completely pointless. I'm sure we'll hear something on the DLC front within a month of the release of the PS3 version of ME2. Can't wait!

Don't know if it was posted, but I think a Shepard origin story would be cool. Just a brief hour gameplay of the career background story (mine is sole survivor). I don't think it would be hard to write a short plot that syncs in to whatever profile your save game is linked to.

Here's what I'd like to see:
 Thane gets a mysterious letter stating that someone has found a cure to Kepral Syndrome. Since He and Shep are good buddies (LI too) Thane recruits Shepard to find who this is, they go to the Hanar homeworld and have to go beneath the ocean in special weighted suits so  they can access the lab. there they find the founder of the cure isn't so friendly, because he thinks Thane and Shep have come to take the cure from him, you see because his wife also suffers from it and there's one cure that took him monthes to make. at the end you have to choose between taking the cure and curing Thane or letting the scientist to keep the cure so he can cure his wife.

What do ya think?

I don't know anymore. I want to see something that shows Wrex and his work unifying the Krogan tribes and bringing what's left of them to full strength. It could be a nice way to not only show the Krogan as important allies for ME3, but may be a way to tie Grunt and the Urdnot clan closer together.

I am in the crowd that says we will see 2 more DLC, one on Kaidan/Ashley, and one for Wrex.



My reasoning behind it is that it for one covers all the squadmates that did not really return for ME2, and helps explains whats happening with them, and helps bridge ME2 and ME3 and brings those squadmates back into the games.



They already gave us one to cover Liara and whats happening with her, giving us the Shadow Broker as an ally.



We know that Kaidan/Ashley are one a pretty top secret alliance mission. I'd say there will be a DLC that will deal with them coming to us for help on that mission, and it having to do with Cerberus and the Reapers, maybe even the Geth.



For Wrex, we know he is trying to unite the Krogan clans. The united Krogan clans will be a very strong ally in the war against Reapers. I think there will be a DLC that involves a problem with Wrex trying to bring them together, and he asks Shepard to come and help him, and promises their aid in return.

And what with those who has Wrex killed? That would kinda take away our freedom: "Oh, you can do whatever you want, but if you get Wrex killed, then you can't play our awesome new DLC."

Don't think so.

So no Garrus, no Tali, and no one who could possibly die.

If Wrex is killed, maybe it will be the guy who is running Urdnot clan in his place, and he will forge a new alliance with Shep if Shep can help him. I don't see how that would be so hard to do.

Now THAT could be possible, but the problem is that, the whole "get allies" thingy gonna take place in ME3, so I think it's safe to say, that they won't do any of it in DLCs.

Possibly Wrex is replaced by his brood brother Wreav if Wrex is dead but I doubt we will have Wrex or Wreav as  teammates since they can't afford to die. I think it would be like your just helping Clan Urdnot deal with other clans like for Wrex you convince the clans to join Wrex and kill the clans who absolutely refuse to join and for Wreav you make clans surrender to Wreav or kill them. But that's just my idea.

Looking at the existing content and what will need to happen to get ready for the reapers here are a few thgouhts. Some may be held for ME3, or not, we can't be certain how early in 3 the Earth will get hit now can we?



Kaiden/Ash - something Alliance, or something that will reveal someone high up in the Alliance government is a Reaper lackey and the reason they've done nothing to prepare for the Reapers. As I wrote this I realized that this would really make sense if the Earth is the first major population center to get hit.



Geth/Quarian peace - too much foreshadowing not to have something related to this between 2 and 3.



Gather the Mercs / Terminus systems / Batarians - This is a potentially massive story arc. We've got the Blue Suns under Vido Santiago, the Batarians and that pinhead from Brining Down the Sky, Aria and her little "Queen of Omega" bit. If the Earth doesn't get hit till halfway through 3 then this would be the perfect first half of the game.



Udina's corruption of the Citadel Council and C-Sec. That comic that was in USA Today (I think that was where I saw it, twas linked in these forums.) seems to indicate that Udina set up Palin to take a fall and Bailey to take him out. Gotta be a story there and Udina needs another beat down.



There are my thoughts about what plotlines should bridge or appear early in the next game.

I dont see the quarian geth thing getting resolved, i think that will be left as a variable that makes it difficult (or impossible) to gain the aid of both the geth and the quarians in preperation for the reaper attack in ME3!
