A lot of people suggested Quarian vs Geth DLC, but honestly I hope that gets saved for ME3. Whichever side you take helps you liberate Earth. I think that would give Bioware much more time to develop the conflict and make a bigger, better battle.
I'd me more inclined to think it's more a situation where you make peace between them, or they go to war and the outcome is the 'state' that those respective species are in during ME3. Like, if you set them to war in the DLC, during ME3, they are still in this conflict and you have to choose to help resolve it one way or the other in lieu of saving someone else. Perhaps if they are at peace, you can have them protecting a sector of space you might have otherwise sacrificed.
I'm of the mind that the Renegade-type player can achieve victory through superior firepower (Collector base, Alliance fleet dominance), while the Paragon-type player achieves victory through allies and galactic co-operation.
I'd also like to see certain Paragon decisions actually hurt you in the long run, ie. Reprogramming the Heretics. While seeming to be the kinder decision, it would be nice if the Heretics reintegrated, but because the virus was created with the help of a Reaper, Legion wasn't perfect in his reprogramming of it and caused a new wide-spread corruption in all Geth, because, as we know, Reaper tech is a bit tricky to fully understand a la the Reaper IFF.
Same goes for some Renegade decisions like killing the Rachni Queen.
ME1 was a game you could play through perfectly Paragon or Renegade, but the lines started blurring a bit in ME2... like helping Liara, shooting the mech with Garrus' gun, etc. This trilogy should be one where you might have to help someone you don't want to (ie Renegade keeping Rachni alive), or you might have to make the tough decision to prevent a possible future threat (ie Paragon destroying the Heretics/ or even keeping the Collector base) in order to achieve the long-term victory with minimal loss.
What's next for DLC?

I don't think they thought of adding that because they didn't expect people to go madly into mining every planet like some people seemed to have done. Casey Hudson did actually state this earlier in the year that they were surprised by the amount of mining going on.

Hmm, perhaps Agent Smith's description of Humans is correct...
Call me obsesive, but i mined every planet in the galaxy completely dry.

^ I second that emotion. Mining for that long would take days.
I'm starting to wonder how long after they release the PS3 version they'll have to wait before announcing the next DLC.

Gibbed Mass Effect Save Editor saved me a hell of a lot of time never had to mine a planet ever again after my 2 playthrough.

While I didn't mine every planet dry I did spend enough on fuel and probes with my first playthrough that I didn't have enough for all the upgrades at kiosks until DLC came out which enabled me to obtain more credits. While I still have a surplus of resources with all my other playthroughs I wasn't nearly as excessive about it like I was with my first. I just wish they'd come out with a way to sell off some of that surplus. Ah well...

I just hope that you aren't "punished" for playing one way or another. Most of my playthroughs are Paragade (very heavy on the Paragon but some of those Renegade interupts are simply irresistable) and that there is some beneficial way to save Earth and the galaxy as a whole no matter which way you played.

Sounds like a job perfectly suited for a Spectre.Former Sonax (now Kore) employee Lira Speight has reportedly fled the planet Garvug. Citadel investigators, allowed access to her personal quarters by Kore Admiral Sanele Mabuza, were able to determine that she took steps to alter her appearance before departing with a flight bag full of negotiable bearer bonds and platinum. She is believed to be traveling with up to five trusted bodyguards. Investigators have released no details about the make or model of the ship she used, nor have they speculated on her likely location. Asked if she would likely remain in the Terminus Systems to stay outside the Council’s reach, spokesperson Dixali Arborandum replied, “If she wants to stay out of our reach, she’d better find another galaxy.”

I mean, it's been nearly a year now, and the Dr. Pepper promo is just about over. I'd like to get those on my 360, just to have the total ME2 experience.

I suspect the race plots (Quarians/Geth, Wre{x,v}'s Krogans etc} will probably be a great part of ME3 (kinda like the Dragon-Agy thingie of hanging around chasing the favor of elves, dwarves and humans to build an army and kick bad guys}.
Another thing... the relay on the citadel is probably out of question, so the reapers _need_ to do some hard work to return to the Galaxy. That demands some explanation that could be tailored like a DLC story.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is with the promo items. Sure, they're a nice bonus, but it doesn't go beyond that. The same could be said of alternate appearance packs.AK404 wrote...
You know what'd be nice? All the promo and pre-order items from Dr. Pepper, the Blackstorm gun, the Terminus, Inferno, and Collector outfits.

I'm just waiting for the next story-based DLC: the new LOTSB, if you will. I know it's coming; it's only a question of when, and I just can't seem to wait anymore. Almost been four months since LOTSB now, which is a considerable gap.
