You know what'd be nice? All the promo and pre-order items from Dr. Pepper, the Blackstorm gun, the Terminus, Inferno, and Collector outfits.

I mean, it's been nearly a year now, and the Dr. Pepper promo is just about over. I'd like to get those on my 360, just to have the total ME2 experience.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is with the promo items. Sure, they're a nice bonus, but it doesn't go beyond that. The same could be said of alternate appearance packs.

I'm just waiting for the next story-based DLC: the new LOTSB, if you will. I know it's coming; it's only a question of when, and I just can't seem to wait anymore. Almost been four months since LOTSB now, which is a considerable gap.

Very true. They don't even affect your experience too much at all. The most important are the story based ones.

I wonder. Are they planning an expension like they did with DA. Or do they continue with the DLC? These DLC packages are good for smaller portions of the story, like they did with LotSB, but it is a big gap to fill between me 2 and 3. They cannot do it like they did with ME 1 and 2 and take you out of commision for 2 years.

Former Sonax (now Kore) employee Lira Speight has reportedly fled the planet Garvug. Citadel investigators, allowed access to her personal quarters by Kore Admiral Sanele Mabuza, were able to determine that she took steps to alter her appearance before departing with a flight bag full of negotiable bearer bonds and platinum. She is believed to be traveling with up to five trusted bodyguards. Investigators have released no details about the make or model of the ship she used, nor have they speculated on her likely location. Asked if she would likely remain in the Terminus Systems to stay outside the Council’s reach, spokesperson Dixali Arborandum replied, “If she wants to stay out of our reach, she’d better find another galaxy.”

Sounds like a job perfectly suited for a Spectre.:police:

Indeed but I tend to think Shepard has other things on his/her mind than chasing down someone who pulled off a heist.

I do hope so but no clue was revealed since now. It makes me sad: I was hoping in some  sort of "christmas present" from Bioware but nothing is moving on the eastern front.... Posted Image

I dunno, after today's event it might be a dead end, I thought it was developing into something pretty nice.  Since they nabbed a bunch of prothean tech, would have loved to have swooped in and made off with it before the Council was able to get their claws, paws, tentacles, whatever on it...

I just wanted to say this - BioWare, we love you and keep on releasing DLC until Mass Effect 3 comes out. We always need new things to do in the ME universe and wont ever get tired of it!

I'm guessing we might here another DLC announcement after the PS3 launch. Though it may only be something dinky like the Squad Alternate Appearance pack 2 or what not; but hopefully we'll see some manner of sizable ME2 DLC before ME3 comes out.

Some DLC close to ME3 launch to get us back and playing ME2 right before we start up ME3 would be nice, though I'd love to see some spring release DLC as well.

I would like to see a DLC about the Krogans, like helping wrex to build the Krogan HUB get beground info on tuchanka and the past history, of the krogan bug wars with visiting and exploring the destroyed planet, a nice side quest coude be that shperd and grunt visit the female camp and the one propulsion shperd got was from a human female where you have to find her family and you see that krogans are not animals that eat children( a littel tarzan like story)

I don't think they thought of adding that because they didn't expect people to go madly into mining every planet like some people seemed to have done. Casey Hudson did actually state this earlier in the year that they were surprised by the amount of mining going on.

Hmm, perhaps Agent Smith's description of Humans is correct... :P

Call me obsesive, but i mined every planet in the galaxy completely dry. Posted Image

Gibbed Mass Effect Save Editor saved me a hell of a lot of time never had to mine a planet ever again after my 2 playthrough.

LOL I was just going to post that.  I just downloaded the editor this week and thought "Man, I should have done this a long time ago!"

All you have to do is give yourself enough minerals and it saves a TON of time with replays.  It sucks having to rescan when you just want to get to the meat of the story!

It's simple: you just do what you did in the main game.  Wrex dead?  Then you deal with Wreav and events play out somewhat differently.  Wrex alive? Then you deal with him (and consequently, the DLC instantly becomes OVER 9000 times more awesome).  Now whether they'd actually do that....different question.  But there is no "can't involve" involved.

I don't care what the next DLC is about at this point. I just want MOAR!!!

Also, if you haven't bought all of the DLC already, Kasumi, Overlord and LotSB will be 200 points each tomorrow (XBL)

Would like some DLC that offers additional combat, even after completion. Like repeatable scenarios, added random encounters that never vanish, or the ability to customize your own enemy encounters via it being a combat simulation. I can't be the only one who gets sad and stops playing when they run out of enemies.

Right now, prices for the Xbox MS DLC are cut in half, but the DLC for the PC version is not? Bummer.

Still can't wait for the ME: Genesis download for January (hopefully the same time the PS3 gets it). I kinda even want to play parts of ME1 again.

VS - I've got a feeling they're saving this for the ME3. Just because Liara got her own DLC doesn't mean anything (she got her own comic book too). The resolution of LotSB is a good bridge to ME3, but anything having to do with the alliance seems like something too imperative to the story of ME3.

Wrex - In ME2 Wrex/Wreav almost seem like the same character so it would seem you could do the same with a re-unification DLC. However, being able to re-unify the krogan with Wreav makes saving Wrex an irrelevant decision with relation to your ability to save Earth and fight the Reapers. I think there was a lot of hints in ME2 to show that under Wrex the krogan were being unified and under Wreav they were continuing to kill eachother off. Therefore I don't think we'll be getting a Wrex DLC.

Tali/Legion - How is this even possible since some players didn't even activate Legion, never mind do his loyalty mission?

In fact, how can any DLC involve the existing ME2 lineup since it's possible for every one of them to die in the suicide mission? Some of us wouldn't be able to do the DLC on our post-suicide-mission save files.

I think if we compare Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2 and the story in between (comic book series), we're seeing a lot of new characters, new settings and new insight into the Mass Effect universe. We also saw that even though we loved Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 took everything to new heights and managed to stun us a second time (at least for me anyway). The story was beyond anything we would have dreamed of, and it wasn't bound by the decisions we made in ME1. I think if we begin to think along that trend, we'll know what to expect for bridge DLC - the unexpected.

How about a Joker moment. You know we have to play Joker in one of the mission. A DLC with a mystery character with basic skills to go through the content rescuing Shepard dead body and give it to Miranda. After the body is given to Miranda, the mystery character show themselves.

That means altering the start of the game after the Normandy blown up before the main game starts at the battle of the base where Shepard being reconstructed.

They should have DLC of the Raloi, you can't just mention a new alien species then ignore them... espicially when they sound so amazing >.<

Really the best DLCs BioWare has created have introduced a new alien species

Bring Down the Sky > Batarians

Lair of the Shadow Broker > (Since this is a no spoiler forum, click here)

I really hope the next bridging DLC continues the trend, whether or not it's the raloi, the Antillin "Ghost Ship" species, or something we've never seen before.

Looking for help!

I've called xbox support and they recomended me to ask around if any one has had issues with the "Liar of the Shadow Broker" DLC. I've downloaded the DLC but when I go to the main menu of Mass Effect 2, there is no menu to play the DLC. The main menu is the same-no change-this is also the same for the "Crash Site" DLC - how do I play these DLC that are on my xbox but at this point not playable....any help is appreciated...I have beat the game three times already so do i have to play again to find these DLC...also I've tried dowloading again but the option to "PLAY NOW" is greyed out and will not let me click it.....what you all know about this?
