You don't use a menu to play the DLC, it's in your actual game. Just go into the game and check the messages in your ship's computer, there will be details of any new missions (including DLC) their. Also your Galaxy map marks points of interest, and some characters may need to be talked to so you can initiate the mission (obviously you have to talk to Liara in Illium to start this mission).

Oh and on topic I think the next DLC (if there still will be one) is taking so long because they aren't using assets already in the game & it wasn't planned to be in the game (at least not at release) like other DLCs. We can also assume the next DLC will be greater in size & length, considering the other DLCs have gotten bigger & better consecutively.

I still badly want to know when/if it will be coming though, but Bioware seems pretty hush-hush about it.

The next dlc will be Udina and Captain Bailey relaited. It is going to be awesome, there is no way around that, but I really want Pinnacle station 2.0 - the ultimate time killer while waiting for next dlc...

Looking for help!

I've called xbox support and they recomended me to ask around if any one has had issues with the "Liar of the Shadow Broker" DLC. I've downloaded the DLC but when I go to the main menu of Mass Effect 2, there is no menu to play the DLC. The main menu is the same-no change-this is also the same for the "Crash Site" DLC - how do I play these DLC that are on my xbox but at this point not playable....any help is appreciated...I have beat the game three times already so do i have to play again to find these DLC...also I've tried dowloading again but the option to "PLAY NOW" is greyed out and will not let me click it.....what you all know about this?

Not sure because I'm a PC user, but should be the same.  Load one of your saved games (even if you beat the game) and go to your message terminal - there should be a message from the Illusive Man about taking down the shadow broker, and something from Admiral Hacket about the Normandy crash site.  These missions will come up on the galaxy map.

You have to be using a save file for DLC, you can't just load it from the main menu because they are integrated into the story and your progress: what guns you have, who your shepherd is, what decisions you've made, are you paragon/renegade, etc.

Same here.Returning to Pinnacle station or getting some new location with the same purpose would be great.Like you said,a time killer.
But something with Udina and Bailey would probably be far more interesting.Maybe after we help Bailey,he lets us use C-sec training simulator or something?Just thinking...

I heard the PS3 ME1 comic was coming to PC/Xbox. Can anyone confirm this with a link or source?

Go to the Mass Effect Wiki and look up Mass Effect: Genesis, one of their links should be a news article/press release stating so.

VS - I've got a feeling they're saving this for the ME3. Just because Liara got her own DLC doesn't mean anything (she got her own comic book too). The resolution of LotSB is a good bridge to ME3, but anything having to do with the alliance seems like something too imperative to the story of ME3.

Wrex - In ME2 Wrex/Wreav almost seem like the same character so it would seem you could do the same with a re-unification DLC. However, being able to re-unify the krogan with Wreav makes saving Wrex an irrelevant decision with relation to your ability to save Earth and fight the Reapers. I think there was a lot of hints in ME2 to show that under Wrex the krogan were being unified and under Wreav they were continuing to kill eachother off. Therefore I don't think we'll be getting a Wrex DLC.

Tali/Legion - How is this even possible since some players didn't even activate Legion, never mind do his loyalty mission?

In fact, how can any DLC involve the existing ME2 lineup since it's possible for every one of them to die in the suicide mission? Some of us wouldn't be able to do the DLC on our post-suicide-mission save files.

I think if we compare Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2 and the story in between (comic book series), we're seeing a lot of new characters, new settings and new insight into the Mass Effect universe. We also saw that even though we loved Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 took everything to new heights and managed to stun us a second time (at least for me anyway). The story was beyond anything we would have dreamed of, and it wasn't bound by the decisions we made in ME1. I think if we begin to think along that trend, we'll know what to expect for bridge DLC - the unexpected.

Tali/Legion is not about the characters, it's about the Quarian / Geth conflict resolution so that you can get the "Largest Fleet in space" on your side. They can't if they're packed full of non combatants.

I always saved Wrex so I've never played with Wreav. That said anything is possible in SciFi with good writing. Look at the whole Garvug war. Clan Urdnot was backing the anti corporate groups so they have been reaching out to other clans. It doesn't have to be all warm and fuzzy if Wrex ain't around. Just knocking off anyone who doesn't back your choice for the Krogan.

Another excellent bridging storyline is the Batarians and the Blue Suns. Was doing yet another playthrough last night and reread the history of the Blue Suns. Gathering the Mercs in the Traverse would be a great way to bring relief to Earth without the Council's help. If the Council is going to be fools about the Reapers, build another fleet/army and bail their tails out yet again.

This you can't do that because I let so-and-so die/never recruited/never activated excuse is just that, an excuse to say impossible. This is SciFi (a.k.a science FICTION), not reality.

I'm almost 99% sure that the new DLC is pretty much done (here's hoping it's the VS DLC); EA is just holding it back. Here's why:

EA/BW are releasing ME2 on the PS3 and they've said it will include all current DLC. Well I'm sure EA wants the PS3 users to pay for SOMEthing! Hence, EA is waiting to release info on the next DLC until the PS3 version hits the shelf.

Mark my words: we'll be hearing about the next dlc within a couple of weeks of the PS3 release.

Seriously, ive become really twitchy waiting for anything. Seriously i would settle for a split second teaser of something that is on the horizon. I suppose with the ps3 release we will have to wait longer to let those players some time to play and get used to the system ( if they havent played on another system as it... i know i own 2 different system copies lol)

Not that I blame them. I just wish all the folks who bought all the DLC on the 360 that the PS3 owners will have included, would get the new story based DLC for free. I understand that the PS3 is getting the title waaaay late, and that concessions had to be made to make the product attractive, further justifying the purchase for consumers, and to penetrate the PS3 market as deeply as possible for the sake of ME3. I completely understand that. It still sort of sticks in my craw that I paid one and a half times as much as the PS3 users will for the same content, a year early or no.

They confirmed that LoTSB is not the last DLC, and it's been a couple months since it's release. So what's taking so long? Either they are making something big, or they want to wait for the PS3 release so more people will buy the DLC. I think its mostly the latter, but I'd love an awakenings-type expansion for ME2.

They're not getting a particularly amazing deal.  They're getting the base game at current market price (about $20, and it's often less) and the "bonus" DLC covers the rest of the PS3 version's price.  If you bought ME2 brand new, right now, for 360/PC and then bought every single piece of paid DLC (and that's at full price, not some of the recent sale prices like on LIVE), not just the story ones, it'd still be slightly cheaper than the $59.99 they're charging for the PS3 port.  And keep in mind, Bioware hasn't said that all the currently available paid DLC will be free for PS3 users.  They've been rather vague about that point, in fact.  I wouldn't be surprised if the weapons packs and suchlike turn out to have a price on the PSN.  At the very least, you can be damn sure Bioware's considered it.

Just started ME2 on a kaiden LI import and asked Anderson about him on the first meeting at the citadel. Anderson says, "He's working on a top secret mission." When pressed further he says, "I can't talk to you about it while you're working with Cerberus."

It's been stated many times, but I hope this is the basis of the next DLC.

Umm, we already know what that was: Horizon.  Kaidan/Ash will tell you that when you see them there (not that the cutscene of them chatting with the colonists and getting stasis-locked by the Collectors wasn't sufficient), and you can even go back and b!tch at Anderson about it if you want to, at which point he'll confirm it yet again.

I am hoping for Dragon Age Awakening type of expansion for ME2 that will finish the DLC's for ME2 since the game is pretty much complete allready, even in the book retribution anderson says "Shepard is god knows wheres doing god knows that" or something similiar so I quess it would fit for Shepard doing something big and in secret

It would be nice to get a disc expansion like Awakening for ME2.  But unlike Awakening I'd hope everything transfers to it.  It was rather sad doing all that stuff in DAO and getting to Awakening naked and with just a bow on my back. None of the DLC stuff transfered.
Not only that you couldn't go to the other places from DAO, only Awakening areas.

Yeah, if they're gonna do stuff like that they might as well make you play a different character (which they did for other DLCs afterwards).
