I'm ready for another DLC. Looks like many others are as well. Hopefully something with story. Overlord was okay, far more interesting that Firewalker LOL
But something that touches a little closer to home for those of us who played through Mass Effect 1 would be nice.
What's next for DLC?

To bad it couldn't be something that makes use of the SB network , I hope it's expanded in ME3.

If I had to guess, and I do, I'd say there will be a few smaller DLC's- Alternate Appearance Packs 2, 3 and 4 (they've just been delayed so BW artists can remove the sunglasses... lol), the interactive comic, and I suspect possibly the Terminus Armor and Blackstorm as it had not previously been available to ALL 360/PC players, unlike the PS3 versions.
I'd like 2 more story bridging DLC's, but I'll be happy with one.

right now I just got Dragon Age Ultimate Edition for Xmas, so it should keep me preoccupied with all the DLC while I wait for DA 2 and Mass Effect 2 DLC and ME3. DA 2 is not too far off but ME2 DLC and ME3 will be awhile

im guessing the next DLC will be when you are going back to the alliance, like DA awakening and you import your character and that is when you see ashley(or kaidon, depending on who u saved) and some of your decisions you made in ME2 is imported to the DLC

I saw an IGN video on Youtube the other day saying we'd be getting DLC on January 24, anyone know what it might be? My hunch says second appearance pack or maybe some new weapons/armor.

Yeah I was thinking that because Bioware rarely gives any warning when releasing that kind of DLC until its already out. I'm fairly sure they did the same for Aegis pack, or was it the alternate appearance pack?

I still think Bioware might release this huge dlc when the PS3 ME2 launches as a total blindside.

That would indeed be nice, especially if it is as big or bigger than LotSB.

I think they were referring to the Cerberus News Network that stops posting updates on January 24.
Maybe some DLC will be released, but I don't think it's anyhing major.
I'd really want the second AA pack in that case.

Yes some new dlc would be nice, and sorely needed as i've played all the dlc so far many times over already. Something involving Sheps re-instatement into the Alliance would be awesome as would Ashley/Kaiden dlc. I won't hold my breath.

I would really love some DLC that added customization to our team like we do with Shepard, some armors to wear in missions and while on the Normandy their normal outfits, that and more missions would be totally awesome, c´mon Bioware!

My bet is....okay so it seems to me that the ME1 dlc that never made it was probably going to lead into and basically end with what became the intro to me2 (ship goes down in flames) had the dlc plans gone through and been made me2 woulda probably started right at the reconstruction. Knowing this, I think the ME2 dlc will probably be that equivilent. some massive event that leads into a length of time skipping ahead by years. Hopefully it gives us some resolution to several characters' story, such as Thane's disease. I'm betting it will involve kaiden/ashley, start on the citadel, probably from Anderson...depending on scale it may involve liara, wrex, aria...who knows. Hopefully it has tons of squad dialogue this time, since they got to have recording going for me3 by this point.

I'm kinda thinking that Bioware will release one last, and extremely large DLC about 6 to 8 months before the release ME3 to prep everyone for the big question: how the heck did the Reapers find a way back here?

I'm not sure. But it was great for them to allow us to continue playing after the suicide mission so that you could play any of your characters with new DLC instead of having to create a new one to enjoy it all. Good move on their part.
I just started a new character in ME1 and after playing the last character from ME1 through everything that is available in ME2, I find myself wanting to press forward with that character. I like the new guy but at the same time I'm eager for more with my first character. Which means either another DLC or ME3.

I can't be bothered buying Bioware points and then buying each individual DLC. I am too old for this kind of scheme.
Give me a full on expansion pack DVD with all the DLCs and I will show you the money.

Id like it if they increased the level cap in the next DLC. Boost it to 35 or 40, then I could get rid of the last few Exp points I have left.

I don't think that's very likely, actually very unlikely if you ask me. It would definitely be a pleasant surprise i mean i would be in favor of that, but increasing the level cap at this point by 10 (for example) would almost be the equivalent of being able to max out all your powers ( i never liked that i actually thought it was a good thing that they removed the skill point exploit on the 360 with the patch).....Now it would work if everyone on your squad including shep could handle one more additional power to even that out, but i don't think they're gonna do that. i'm fine with the level cap as long as the next DLC bridges the gap a little more before ME3:)

I'm really hoping for an Ashley DLC, the horror of that encounter on Horizon still annoys me every time, even on my Shepards that didn't fall in love with her in ME1...
Or an idea that was already mentioned: "Ok, we've survived the Suicide Mission, let's leave TIM behond and start rallying the Council races behind our cause", which would ofcourse mean reuniting with the Allicance and Ash. On the other hand, that seems a pretty probable storyline for ME3 so I'm not hoping hol ding my breath for that.
Tbh, I have a separate playthrough (including ME1) prepared until JUST before Horizon so I'll be ready when there actually will be Ash dlc and it turns out to possibly hook into the game like LotSB did with Liara
