I still think Bioware might release this huge dlc when the PS3 ME2 launches as a total blindside.

I used to think the same, but you'd expect them to announce it first; they didn't, and the PS3 release is just a little over a week away, which is why I no longer believe there will be new DLC with the PS3, aside from the interactive comic.

Have any of you guys read the most recent Mass Effect Book (Retribution) it is set AFTER Mass Effect 2 probubly at the same time as LOTSB. Any way this sheds light about whats happening at the time with Cerberus. Cerberus has some of the Reaper tech from the collector base. Not going into Spoilers but somthing happens and Cerberus gives Aria T'loak some their files about the Reapers. In the next Dlc I think you are going to some how get this data and prove the existance of the reapers to the council and seeing as this is going to be "Bridging" Dlc like Lotsb I think at the very end of the Dlc the reaper invasion will begin and it will lead off to ME3.

Yes I did read Retribution and my guess and/or hope is that the DLC has something to do with Retribution. Perhaps even seeing Kahlee Sanders or that Chinese Mercenarie (forgot his name) in Action.

According to a Dutch site (http://www.gamer.nl/...ct-2-in-de-maak) new DLC is in production!! This article was published on the 4th of Januari 2011.

For the next DLC I would like to fight into the batarian rebellion Balak was talking about. Having a DLC related to Retribution is a good idea but maybe it'll be in ME3 that we will get more informations about the Reapers. Who knows, maybe the Illusive Man could play an important role as a secret holder about the main ennemies in the Mass Effect Universe.

Cool Idea about Balak, but I think that meeting him again would be better in ME3, because from what we have seen Shepard is going to have to get an army to take back Earth (Might recuit Balak and the Batairians).

My other ideas on what the DLC could be are mainly realated to Retribution.
My other Ideas on what the future DLC could be:

Paul Grayson DLC: He may be dead but when Saren died the Reaper Cybernetics still worked. Maybe he might attack the Citadel where his body is being examined.

Ashley/Kaidan Alliance DLC: We had a Liara DLC so I don't see why we won't get a Ashley/Kaidan DLC. If it is about them it will probubly cocern the Alliance or Cerberus corruption in the Alliance.

The Illusive Man/Fall of Cerberus DLC: Seems Possible because an Illusive Man comic is on the way (Like Redemtion Comic and LOTSB) also with what happened in Retribution Cerberus is definately weak so you might choose wether to stay with Cerberus or Rejoin the Alliance and take them down.

the paul grayson dlc is very doubtful. the book clearly implies that the reapers left his body. seeing as their is a lot more plausible story ideas(such as other ones you mentioned), i would not want to see it.

I hope Wrex isnt included in the next dlc, or Kaiden/Ashley for that matter, i thought they were pretty lame characters tbh. i want something new for the dlc

Wrex probably not , Kaiden/Ashley will more than likely appear.Especially if this is about possibly having Shepard being re-instated or heck maybe he's unofficially back but it's a black ops sort of thing.Where he can operate outside the law without worrying about restrictions as long as he gets the job done.

No sure about Wrex being out, given his possible role in uniting the Krogan he just might become a powerful ally in large scale conflict.

I was thinking perhaps you get to rally the council space species against the Reapers in ME3 like you recruit squad members in ME2. Imho some decisions in ME and ME2 could lead to certain species being more inclined to stand by you than others.

Yes thats exactly what i was thinking i read it and i thought it was a great story for a bridging DLC and i dont think bioware can ignore it. I even mentioned this in my last comment on this thread, retribution has a massive impact on mass effect 3 storyline new charecters are intoduced, aria daughter gets killed, grayson gets turned into a human reaper by the illusive man and we get to see Anderson in action not to mention kahlee sanders. And the ending was a climax.

Yes to be honest theese events are most deffinatley gonna have an effect on the dlc + ME3. The weried thing is in LOTSB dlc Anderson is seen talking on the Citadel with a Cerberus agent (In the video Reports Thing( at about 1:43)) this is rather significant if you take the events of Retribution into account. Could cerberus be feeding Anderson files to prove the Reapers existance to the council?

I think we are on to somthing here with the Retribution Dlc Idea!Posted Image

I remember seeing that video footage. I think I went back to the Citadel to confront him about it and there wasn't any new dialogue. He didn't even know Shepard had gone into the Omega-4 Relay.

Maybe they are saving it for DLC.

Well they havent actualy said when were getting the DLC but they said more is comming I am guessing were getting some more in Late Feb/ Early March. It seems too short notice to be at the end of Jan.

maybe there is someone inside cerberus feeding anderson info on what the illusive man is up to perhaps he was informing him about Grayson being intergrated with reaper technology and that could be the beginning for the DLC

I've heard of this video before.  Can anyone find it and post it here?

I'm not lazy, just I don't want to go through 60+ pages of this thread.

Possibilities are endless ツ ....yeah, keeping it short. Trying to figure out what road Bioware takes with this pre ME3 DLC, hurts my head. O_x

it could be like DA Awakening where it is telling what is happening after orgins, but in this DLC it will probably be in the middle of ME2 and ME3, and you will need to import your character to that DLC, like witch hunt, awakening, ect. Im just guessing, but they got to explain what happens right after ME2 and lead it up to the events of ME3.

Ah the Shadow Broker video archives.  I knew about that, though it's unknown what that Cerberus agent gave him, whether it was Grayson's location or not.  It is pure speculation on whether or not this may be about a DLC.

Most likely this is dirt the Shadow Broker was trying to get on Anderson to use as possible blackmail if the Shadow Broker doesn't get any info from him in the future.

I wonder why an agent in full-blown Cerberus fatigues is in the Citadel anyway, wouldn't he be arrested on site? If you know from the books, Cerberus agents act alone and in deep cover.   A hooded figure just passing by info casually would be more believeable.

The Cerebus fatigues caught me off guard as well. Not sure what to make of that. Makes me wonder what would happen if you wore the Cerebus Assault suit while visiting the Citadel.
