We're not expecting a whole DLC to centre around either character (we certainly wouldn't mind though...), but we are advocating for a role for them in DLC. Overlord, Stolen Memories, and Lair of the Shadow Broker all have awesome elements that we're hoping will be featured again in DLC. These awesome DLCs had characters who were important as a subplot, but Shepard had a larger fish to fry within each DLC. Furthermore, in this DLC, we're also hoping to continue their friendship and/or romance with these two awesome characters.
The DLC that had been most advocated within the thread has been dealing with the Alliance (since Ashley and Kaidan are a apart of it), Cerberus, or the Reapers. People have also mentioned bringing Balak back.

I remember seeing that video footage. I think I went back to the Citadel to confront him about it and there wasn't any new dialogue. He didn't even know Shepard had gone into the Omega-4 Relay.
I've heard of this video before. Can anyone find it and post it here?
I'm not lazy, just I don't want to go through 60+ pages of this thread.

Ah the Shadow Broker video archives. I knew about that, though it's unknown what that Cerberus agent gave him, whether it was Grayson's location or not. It is pure speculation on whether or not this may be about a DLC.
Most likely this is dirt the Shadow Broker was trying to get on Anderson to use as possible blackmail if the Shadow Broker doesn't get any info from him in the future.
I wonder why an agent in full-blown Cerberus fatigues is in the Citadel anyway, wouldn't he be arrested on site? If you know from the books, Cerberus agents act alone and in deep cover. A hooded figure just passing by info casually would be more believeable.
I am certain the cerberus agent he was talking too had to do something with mass effect retribution, cause think about it, the lair of the shadow broker takes place after the suicide mission and most of those archives were events that occured after the suicide mission as well. Another thing is udina talking to the Csec officer which i also believe is linked to mass effect inquisition. Overall anyone who read mass effect retribution would know that its a pretty important plot in whats going to happen between mass effect 2 and 3, my guess is Bioware is working on a DLC linked to mass effect retribution and then they might release anothe DLC about mass effect inquistion. Im interested to see if Grayson will ever be introduced in the next DLC, and as for the part in the shadow brokers archives im sure when anderson punches udina in the gut may have something to do with the mass effect inquisition storyline. As for the people who want an ash/kaiden DLC dont worry most diffenetly the alliance will be involved in the upcoming DLC since anderson may have to get his hands dirty, the alliance may send ash/kaiden to work alongside you and investigate. The council may finally get evidence of the reapers.......Ahh yes reapers we have approved of their existance LOL.

I think it would be a snazzy idea to tie in the next Alternate Appearance pack with the first. For example have alternate costumes for Tali, Jacob and Samara... but if you also have AP1, AP2 will unlock versions of the Jack and Thane outfits without the sunglasses and Garrus without the com array. And of course if you have AP1 then you'll get a snappy variation on whatever costumes are in AP2. This would add incentive and spice things up a bit for those that might otherwise pass over an AAP for characters they don't like.
I also know it's a complete waste of time, but I do yearn for a dialogue pack. Something that extends and enhances your relationships-romantic or otherwise-with other characters. For example Johnny romances Tali and gets shut down by Miranda, whereas you go talk to Mordin and he has like a cycle of ten hilarious things to say, Miranda and Garrus among others really have nothing interesting to say.
It'd also be nice to help Jack work through her problems without getting in her pants. You could even use the start of the romance scene, intersperse a scene of the pair sitting on Shepard's couch with glasses, making the 'I'm talking' motions and then end it with a nice platonic hug.
Stupid dialogue/action dlc packs. They take ten to twenty times the effort that weapon and appearance packs do, and people still pitch a witch about how much they cost.
Ah well, that's all I've got to say about that. (Other than that I edited a little bit for clarity.)

Might even be a neat twist if VS is the one whose in charge of the mission so shep actually takes orders from them since they were promoted and shep would technically be an FNG.
that's assuming the desription is the final product description.

Though I want a full huge LotSB sized DLC!
They have said repeatedly that the upcoming bridging DLC will be larger, but will come out less frequently than the DLC we've seen in 2010.
So with that, I can hypothesize that whichever new story DLC will come out, it will be the size and scope of LotSB.
Hopefully it'll be better.

You can do it before the suicide mission. You get some different dialogue if you completed LotSB after the SM I guess but on the other side the shadow broker base supply some useful resources that can be used on the campaign like the package delivery, extra credits from the investments, respec for the entire team etc.
I really hope important stuff like Virmire Survivor appear on ME3 rather than a limited DLC. There are various plot elements that need to be attended like the relationship with Cerberus, Alliance and the Council.

Amen! Even a projected would be nice. Given the range of a whole year, it's just mean to leave it that wide open if you ask me.

This ME2 on the PS3 is really getting in my way! I cannot wait for it to come out so Bioware can go back to talking about ME2 DLC and some light ME3 info. It has been since September and NOTHING regarding future DLC has been revealed.....NOTHING!

No QQ here(MY VIEW) but seriously what do u find SOOOO exciting about kaidan?I played a hundred time ME1 this character is boring, monotone, background story not impressive at all compare to the others.I would like to know if i miss a very touching moment in ME1 that make this chara sooo special compare to the others?(dont tell me virmire i always sacrifice him, dont want him in my ME 2-3)Again this is my point of view....you like the guy cool your problem, just want to know if there is something that make him special in ME1
If you hate his guts i dont think anything in ME1 that you may have missed is gonna make you change your opinion.
It's like saying "I hate FPS games they suck why do you guys like them is there anythig i'm missing?". no matter what people tell you you will most likely still hate FPS games (it's an example).
The people who really like kaidan like him because the things about his character that you find boring, monotone and unimpressive they find the opposite.
I like both kaidan and ash, and hate niether. but in almost all of my playthroughs kaidan is the virmire survivor.
