the next dlc it got to be about the Love Interests Kaidan or Ashley like for liara and it not like you can have a dlc for liara Love Interests and not for Kaidan or Ashley Love Interests

I wonder if this next DLC will be about curing Thane's Kepral's Syndrome?

I say this because the Mass Effect Facebook page is going nuts on a fan-made pledge to cure Thane's illness.

Could this be a prelude to something?

Well I'll say . Next bridge DLC = VS ( so that them fan are happy ) the VS helps you go back in the alliance ( mass effect 3 says shepard is a alliance soldier) but ... I DONT CARE I JUST WANT A DLC !!!!!! I miss mass effect so much I would even buy a DLC about shepard cleaning the Normandy with a toothbrush

We all know its not gonna be an appearance or weapon pack, they already said its going to be a story bridging DLC. And I think and really hope its going to have Ashley/Kaidan in it.

Highly unlikely, since a full expansion pack is called an Expansion, and is the polar opposite of a DLC. One has an entire new campaign with a full story and almost as long as the original campaign, if not just as long, and contains a ton of new content. The other is a shrimpish one-trick-pony.

LotSB is probably the last sustantial DLC we will see ...... Bioware is probably devoting it's resources to ME3 and would prefer they make the side quests better in that game than release DLCs now.

I'm just thinking that this DLC could be a substantial addition to the game, actually extending the main plot-line with regards to the Reapers, rather than the side-mission that LotSB gave us.

Don't get me wrong, I loved LotSB, but it was more of an important side-quest than an actual mission that would lead on to ME3.

Personally want the DLC to be bigger than stuff like Overlord and LotSB, would be surprised to see a large expansion at this stage, of course the more content we get I'll be just as pleased.

Plus I think quite a few people were expecting 2-3 DLC's this year when the Devs mentioned that more 'bridging content' is coming, now it seems there will only be one DLC so who knows.

I agree - I tink the dlc is finished much like CDN...more me2 dlc this year is same as 2 years of  dlc for dragon age origins...specially with ME3 ocming out in December

Priestly says in the first sentence they were considering it. Presumably having considered it by now, it would seem obvious they decided against making another. I did not read all 30+ pages of the thread. Was it ever explicitly stated that another pack was confirmed? Not just an idea they were mulling over?

Appearance pack .. don't think it was ever explicitly stated. But then my memory is scatchy on these things.

With a story bridging DLC , I think iut has been stated on a couple of accasions that they plan more DLC in that regards and ME3 is suficiently away to make that still a possibility. However I wouldn't be sure how substancally it would be. I would asssume it would be substantially and that it also would be the last story based DLC and that they then concentrate on ME3 just as they did with DA2 after Witchhunt.
However as LotSB was overall quite a nice DLC and it was the latest one (and with Overlord beforehand) the quality curve interems of ME2 DLC clearly points upwards so I wouldn't be surrprised that a new DLC (which I think should be a given at present, also inlight of the recenetly released PS3 version. Afterall theywant toi sell something substantially to the PS3 players as well) will be at least as good (qualitywise) and probably at least a bit more substantially then LotSB if not quite a bit more. So the extent of a new DLC would depend on it being the last or the 2nd to last DLC for ME2.
However I kind of doubt that it would be a Ashley/Kaiden centric DLC and if it is a side characetr centric DLC then it might be more centric to a new ME2 charcater. Howevere that wouldn't exclude Ashley/Kaiden to appear in it. BUt I guess that would be a finiacial decision aka time requirement (and availability) of voice actors versus costs to hire them for only a short ish section.

On the otherside the availability of known voice actor / actresses might also move the release window(s) of DLC(s) around.

I would like a Ashley/Kaiden DLC and I would for sure love a DLC that gives you a 2nd chance and the power weapon selection...I would love to have my Widow, M-96 Mattock, and Cameo...I'm stuck playing a soldier if I wanna use my two favorite weapons...

im down for an expansion pack like the red dead one just make it big and epic..I always wanted the expansion to play from another perspective like before earth getting attacked you play the dude in the trailer or something
