Ashely/Kaidan and Shepard destroying some alien who is going to kill their parents, and a chance to continue the relationship (if they have one)

It better be something substantial to the overall story arch, not some stupid meaningless character story like an ashley/kaidan thing. Even lair of the shadow broker didn't really address any story stuff. If liara finds info on reapers in me3 that's still info related to that game, not the actual dlc.



I'm just a little irked about how meaningless the story in 2 and all the dlcs have been.

I personally want an Ashley/Kaiden DLC. Those were my two favorite squadmates in ME1 and I spent the entire game using them until Ashley's death near the end of the game. ((Well, excluding character-specific missions)).



But, i'd be just as happy if they have large roles in ME3 and not cameos and the DLC could be for something else.

I doubt it will be about the following:

Wrex: Reason: Could be dead not all players saved him.

Kaiden/Ashley Reason: Same as above one of the two will be dead.

Personally I'm hoping for an Aria based DLC.

Now that the word on the Appearance Pack 2 is out, I'd imagine we will see the bridging DLC next. While I would like to see another weapons & armor pack, I find it highly unlikely at this point. Many suspected the Appearance Pack 2 would come sooner or later. The story bridging DLC we've all been waiting is bound to be next.

The next DLC will be an Appearance Pack? Damn. I was hoping for another story DLC as epic as LOTSB! Now we have to wait even longer.

Personally, I couldn't care less about any kind of love interest DLC. I thought the love interest thing was fine the way it is, as a side note. Shepard is trying to save the galaxy after all. I just want to see more continuation toward the story in some way in the next DLC.

I am hoping for DLC that either fleshes out Shepard's background, or uses the Sole Survivor background to show why someone that lost his entire squad to Cerberus experiements would ever join with them?

I would like to see a pre-ME DLC adventure starring Saren and how he got tied up with the Reapers.

^ That was partially covered in Mass effect Revelation but that would be pretty interesting. I think at first saren would have tried to find a way to stop the reapers but then something happened that caused him to lose all hope hmm. He was working with sovereign for 20 years. Maybe he did end up finding something.

That would lock you out of the rest of the game, so I wouldn't want to see that.  Now a spin-off stand alone game after ME3 with what you mentioned above might be interesting.

So why are you posting here? If you think the whole ME2 story and the DLC are ****** poor, then why post here? Seems a bit like trolling to me

I have a funny feeling that there will be at least 2 story driven DLCs before Mass Effect 3. Hopefully one with Kaiden/Ashley the other likely a bridge from ME2 and ME3

but only time and patience will tell

Well, LotSB was about how Liara and was sort of a bridge that might be more apparent in ME3. It wasn't just about Liara but had another purpose I think. So Kaiden/Ashley might be in the bridging DLC that fills the gap between ME2 and ME3. I'd happily take 2 story DLCs, while being realistic I only see one coming.

Space Hamster story-driven DLC. You control your space hamster in space killing monsters like rachni, geth, collectors, asteroids, etc. (See: Rocket Knight - stage 6 to understand what i mean).

Judging by what has been said through the Cerberus network, I suspect there will only be one more story-driven game-bridging DLC, but that doesn't mean there won't be more small stuff like the Alternate Appearance packs.
