I'm hoping for a massive new hub world with one or two new bridging stories, a ton of new assignments, and plenty of secrets, unlockables, extras and achievements. It would also be great if you could drive around the hub in a skycar. Add in a Pinnacle Station 2.0 for some more replay value, and you have a great package IMO.
That sounds more like an expansion pack than a DLC.

Maybe there will be also a DLC where you let Anderson visit the new Normandy.)
I could totally get behind that.
Shepard: "Do you wanna... get out for a bit? Take a walk? I mean, it'd have to be on the new Normandy is the only stipulation. Try as I might, I just can't seem to access the rest of the Presidium anymore..."

I would like to see Ash return the favor of saving Shepard's life like when he did on Eden Prime. Also throw in a new weapon/armor/upgrade or two just to make it worth while. Location doesn't matter, only the renewing of friendship/explanations. Maybe give us the A-61 Mantis Gunship to add to our arsenal. Allow Shep to get back in the good graces of the Alliance. Restore his previous rank/promote to Captain if possible.
Sounds like a solid idea. Maybe make it a different make of gunship to give it some individuality.

Shepard travels to an exotic planet. Quarians have built huge biodomes there with millions of different plants, so that they can experiment with them to help the Migrant Fleet. However, in one of the biodomes plants have become infected and are becoming dangerous, and many quarian workers have become infected as well (the workers are wearing yellow enviro-suits, the kind you see in a nuclear power plant or something). Shepard investigates, travelling to the core of the colossal biodome, fighting huge, monstrous plants and mutated quarian workers. Shepard reaches the core to discover a Thorian! The Thorian is ancient and has valuable information about the Reapers, but it turns on Shepard and the mission ends with a huge and epically awesome boss fight. It would be a bridging DLC of sorts because the Thorian's information can be useful against the Reapers in ME3. Anyone like this idea?

I've been waiting for a DLC that would allow us to change the whole crew out of that damn Cerberus costume and into proper Alliance blues. And some redecoration for the Normandy to boot. I mean, I just don't understand what Bioware was trying to push on us this whole game.

I'd like to see a DLC that takes place AFTER the Omega 4 mission that could also update the dialogue and cut-scenes to show various NPCs' reactions to your success. If ME3 takes place immediately after the mission, however, I guess that kills that idea.
Wooaaaaahhh hold you're horses. Between the final suicide mission and ME3 comes:
- Mass Effect Retribution;
- Mass effect Inquisition;
- An upcoming comic Mass Effect comic; it will feature another original story developed by Mac Walters and John Jackson Miller, this time set after the events of Mass Effect 2. Unlike Redemption and Evolution, the new series will have no set length and will be produced on an ongoing basis.
- Hopeflly, bridging DLC between ME2 and ME3....
So you DLC could be realized, but thats up to the Developers.
Personally I hope the DLC will have something to do with ME Retribution (Remember Kahlee Sanders and Cap. Anderson working on Reaper Tech.) or a third (after Sovereign and the dead reaper investigation in ME2) encounter with a Reaper or the way they reached the Galaxy.

We might hear voices for all of our squadmates unlike the other DLC. I understand the logic, "we can't pay for voice actors to only say 2-3 lines". That is why the DLC so far doesn't have any voices. However if the original cast is already working on ME3 voice work, a DLC with squadmate dialog might not be out the realm of possibilities.
I would really like to see this happen. If they're already bringing in the big cast, they might as well record some extra stuff.

Agreed. Who knows? Maybe that's why the new DLC is taking so long; they might be waiting for the voice actors to return for ME3 so they can make use of them for this DLC.Someone With Mass wrote...

Kaiden/Ashley Reason: Same as above one of the two will be dead.

from Cerberus Daily News:
“OUT-OF-GAME NOTICE: The Cerberus Daily News will begin a hiatus on January 24th, finishing its run of one full year. Daily postings will cease except for three weeks in 2011: a week of posts will precede a downloadable content release, and two more weeks will lead up to the release of Mass Effect 3. The CDN team thanks fans for their attention, comments, and feedback (both in and out of character!). We are sorry to go, but we had fun -- we hope you did, too!”
