I think there will be one or two more DLCs. One probably near summer and the last one close to the release date of ME 3

I hear you, but I'm just glad that something is finally coming out.  Some small scale stuff is fine for now. A couple more armors and weaons would be nice next and another appearance pack for the remaining non DLC characters would be good.

Another Firepower Pack with a new SMG and such before the bridge DLC would be nice.

Isn't that the length of ME2 if you rushed trying to finish it? Maybe 5 hours would be more than enough but with more replay value to keep us sane in anticipation over ME3. More replay value meaning, more possible dialogue choices and combinations, as well as paragon and renegade interrupt goodies.

I think anyone asking for a DLC longer than 2 hours (3 hours if you haven't played before and don't know where you are going) is deluding themselves.

Unless of course it is going to be something like Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening where it's around 6-8 hours but costs around 2400MS/BW points.

I'll take content before hours, anyway. I don't think it matters how long it is if it can't deliver.

I think the dlc will be alliance based and will feature the VS as the point person for the mission...it will feature the optional romance continuation fort those who want it...What would be cool would be if Hackett was also in the DLC

I agree but having actually thought about it I can't think of any recent DLC that I've played that has been over 2 hours, I mean DLC now not expansions

Some DLC that takes us back to the presidium or through Omega would be awesome, or something involving the alliance military.

My guess is that the next 'major' DLC will come in the summer - my guess would be June/July-time, roughly 6 months before ME3 comes out (or is planned to come out). Before that, I suspect we will get another Firepower-type pack, and AAP3 - though its possibly AAP3 might follow the bridging DLC, I think before is more likely. With the ME2 Ps3 port out of the way, Bioware/EA can concentrate on bringing more DLC to the rabid fanbase.

Disappointed :(

I was hoping for at least a couple "Light", more form-fitting armor for Shepard, in AA packs.

Instead we got Tali, Miranda and Grunt... and it's not even that impressive. Quite bland, actually.

Dragon Age: Awakening was way longer than 6 hours. Awakening probably has at least 3 hours of dialogue alone. Anyway I really hate it when people talk about "hours" of gameplay because it encourages developers to artificially extend it with grinding and the most bare-bones fetch quests. And those people usually underestimate the number of hours, or give a time where you skip all cutscenes, don't read any codex, play on easy, don't collect anything, don't explore, don't do any unnecessary conversations, etc..

Anyway, considering how long we've been waiting, it just MIGHT be as long as DA:A.

I vote for an "almost-expanction" like DA:A. The voice actors are already called because of ME3, the graphic engine is already built and, most of everything else, we need something to set the situation of the team for ME3, or we'll be doomed to another 30-second-from-start twist or to a too long-range timeshift that will screw a lot of things...

I honestly dont think they have the time to make an "almost expansion" not with ME3 so close

How about a DLC that gives Legion a fixed armor version and allows us to get him earlier in the game with the choice of waiting until Derelict Reaper or something. I like Legion and wouldve loved to take him around town to get Archangel and other recruitment missions.

idk if anyone has said this already there are to many pages to hold my attention, but what if the next dlc is the battle to take back tali's planet from the geth? Or am I thinking to big lol probably am, but I wont lie I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

That might be a possibility depending on how big they're making it.They could be trying to complete the battle and relationship between the Geth and Quarians so they could focus more on the Reaper threat in ME3.That could also depend on if the Reapers will have a new group of minions to confront Shepard other than husks.

I got a feeling there won't be a group of minions this time.  The Reapers themselves are coming.

EDIT - I just remember something from the CDN not long ago having to do with the Bartarians.  I suppose a war between the Citadel races and the Terminous systems could break out.  The mention of avoiding such was in ME1.  If the Reapers use the Terminous systems as their new pawns then this could be really big.

Other than the Batarians the rest of the Terminus systems seem to be pirate gangs and merc groups. Even the Batarians have never seemed to have a cohesive military force. Just a bunch of Slavers and assorted members of Merc groups and general criminals on places like Omega. If they went to war with the Citadel races they'd be squished quick.

That said I could see a part of the Beginning of ME3 dedicated to gathering forces to fight the Reapers and the Batarians could be a force you would need to recruit. Perhaps something where you could back Charn against Balak or if you killed Balak and his hostages just recruiting Charn to pull the Batarians together?
