Spacestation 7734 has long been at the heart of pirate activity in the terminus systems but after the battle of Elysium constant in fighting between the factions have made it nothing more then a minor annoyance. However, intelegence has gathered that a new group has risen to the top and is amassing a fleet for an assult on alliance colonies that will make the Skyllian Blitz look like a day in the park. Were gathering for a pre-emptive attack and thought you might want in.

* adds several missions and a new hub world
* lets you take over and customize your own spacestation, Shepard's Haven! transform it anywhere from your own personal fueling station to a impenetrable battle station and heart of galaxtic trade that would put even the citadel to shame.
* invest your extra materials to help build your own fleet, upgrade the haven, or even trade them to other factions for credits!
* depending on your choices, past characters may make an appearance and might even join your station.
~and so on, something like that which shows shepard is actively getting ready for the reapers instead of being ignored by people. just a rough idea, got more and can expand on this one if people think its interesting enough

Not sure I'd use a space station though, too immobile and blowupable. But maybe a battleship or dreadnought.

making it some type of mobile fortress sounds good though. spacestation was just the first thing to pop in my head as a "home base" kind of thing

Oh man. What I would LOVE for ME3 DLC would be some volus and elcor LI's, just for funsies. How great would it be to hear an elcor say, "Aroused. Would you like to join me in my bedchambers?" XD
would be awesome if it turns out your shep is too much (wo)man for the elcor to handle and some extra fem shep diologue saying that the elcor are unfortunatly quick with somethings~

Well, aside from the several new missions, it seems like you took that idea mainly from the Vigil in Dragon Age Awakening and Shepard's apartment in Pinnacle Station
Now, I'm not at all saying that that would be a bad idea, and if they did do it, I would stay up all night waiting for it to go up on the download servers. But an idea like that with the people from your past coming to join you would cost Bioware a large amount of money for voice work, and wouldn't be worth it if they were going to deliver only a line or two, not to mention the ridiculous amount of coding work that would need to take place to make a customizable space station on the scale of some of the hub worlds.
In a future DLC, I agree that Shepard should be building up his forces, but it would most likely focus on fixing the problems of one group, such as whatever this conspiracy with the Alliance is, or (at least partially) curing the Krogan Genophage.
So once again, love the idea, but I highly doubt it's going to happen.

havent played the vigil for DA but yeah its a common video game cliche that i like. makes it feel like im doing something
for voice work they will have to bring people in anyway for dlc i would think so im not too worried about that. the npc's you help that join your station thing is pretty much a gimik idea anyway so its not really needed if its too much.
the coding is what has me worried about any dlc for ME2 right now. like i said, since 3 is so close to release any large dlc that needs a lot of coding will probably not get much attention unless its already in the making, mostly cause i think it might clash with 3.
for upgrading the station i kinda made it sound bigger then what im thinking just to sell my idea better. mostly a "upgrade" will just open up a new part of the hub that actually already exists, kind of like how parts of your ship only unlock when you get a character but its still already all there. it will also change the landing animation to show the station is changing but really they could probably just reuse animations from the other hubs. some upgrades wont even do much game wise either, at least for 2. like getting better defenses just gives it a new skin when you land or something.
just a in case someone asks: for the ships you make/buy/whatever also i was thinking that could be something like the LOTSB. you invest in something and after a mission you get a return of some kind. example: the quarians need help finishing a scout ship for mining. you give what they need and in return you can collect a small amount of resources from them every so often. you wont get to really use or see some of the ships till 3 but yeah like you said, it makes sense to me that shepard will be building some kind of defence instead of running around yelling "listen to meeeeee~"
for missions you could do jobs for the different aliens and/or governments and what you do gives your station things that doesnt really do anything just adds to the story of building a force. like if you help the turians they send you a patrol of ships that protect the station ext. it could be LOTSB type of missions where you just select it and it gets done automatically over time, firewalker type missions where you follow a small chain and get something at the end, or a mix. maybe something where you can refuse some missions to follow the para/rena paths.
yeah, all that does seem like a lot and probably too much to fit in but its still a fun thing to think about.

Technically, we could conclude that this last big DLC (that will be preceded by a week of CDN reports) has been in progress since LoTSB was released back in September with minor DLC's like the Alternate Appearance Pack being done on the side. I think that, regardless of what the last big DLC is, it will be a surprise because it will be the only big story DLC that people haven't found hidden voice or image files for in the base game.

Beheading the Hell's Hound
Cerberus decides to launch a fullscale assault on some alien populated planet to strip it of it's resources, and it's up to Shepherd to stop them. After sucessful repeal, you discover a some rathet disturbing documents and orders directly from Illusive Man and with help for EDI (or Miranda/Jacob if they survived the suicide mission), you track him down to his lair and take down Cerberus once and for all.
The story line would be affected depending on your choice of destroying or saving Collector's base.

In a gist this new DLC will unlock additional conversations with crew. You would be able to carry a love interest with Joker. Plus male/male love interests with Kaiden, female/female interests with Ashley and they will carry over to Mass Effect 2.
the DLC will carry over into a replay of ME2, adding more replay value to the game.
The Mass Effect 2 DLC will also unlock additional conversations and love interests you will be able to have with Kasumi, Zaeed, Joker, Samara, and a complete love interest with Kelly. There will be both female/female and male/male romances available between all human, asari, and quarian races.

Redemption's series ended in April, just like Evolution. So going by that logic, we could possibly get the next major DLC September time. But I have a feeling that's cutting it too close and we could get it earlier.

this will be interesting expecially how you decided the ending in me2. it can work in a way where shepard could kill tim if you think about it and maybe kasumis graybox could play some form of role

Well, Mass Effect: Deception is coming out in September and so I don't think they'd release twi things in the same month.

I still beliieve that the Last Story DLC will be about Shepards Alignment in Mass Effect 3 and I figure that you will have to either side with The Alliance or Cerberus.
A strong possibility. Perhaps ( assuming that you side with Alliance) you will be able to kill Illusive Man an end Cerberus because without Collector Base thingy you don't need him.
Ofc there is still a question about ppl siding with Cerberus,We'll see.
