It would be nice, another hour or two , to have new mission somewhere , and meet him- save his life for example.. work together that mission , and ask him to join us in ME3!!! Now if we sad `bay bay` Cerberus - he should stay with us!
And of course... love scene...

I agree Kaidan should return. Somehow the game stayed unfinished cause they are not together on the end...

I mean we already know Liara is likely to actually not be a constant squadmate about the normandy in ME3 (or a squadmate at all) but rather instead a major intel resource in a massive support role in ME3. We will either see the same for Kaiden/Ash where they are leading a crew of their own in their own ship providing support and crossing over into Shepards story or they will rejoin the crew in ME3. But I am almost certain they won't rejoin perminantly in ME2 as it'd be pointless especially as the DLC is designed to bridge.

The Illusive man would then try to kill Shepard. Based on whether your squad mates are loyal or not(and if they somehow survived the final mission), some would stay with Cerberus(particulary: Miranda, Jacob, and Zaeed) to hunt down Shepard, and others would simply run off(like: Jack, Grunt, and Kasumi), Or they would all side with Shepard if all are loyal. And after Shepard runs escapes, Cerberus fabricates a story on the extranet that paints Shepard as a villain. Shepard then runs to the only one he/she can trust... Kaiden/Ashley. So, in ME3 you try and stop whatever the Illusive Man is planning while at the same time fighting off the collectors.
Also on a less serious note: The Biotic God Volus as DLC character

I seriously think the final dlc will be about the virmire survivor (kaiden or ash) who will be temp squadable similar to liara, tied in with some major spectre mission and/or building bridges with the alliance that will ultimately land the player at a solid starting point for ME3.
I doubt that any normal person is able to survive a nuke blast, and considering it's lik 200-300 years in future, it means it's like 3x stranger than todays (based on the citadel conversation)

I know you were trying to be clever, but the joke doesn't work; Ash/Kaidan technically are a survivor from Virmire, or Virmire survivor. Now had he said the nuclear blast survivor, maybe.
But since it's lik, 3x stranger, I somehow think the distinction is lost on you....

The ME2 DLC has been top quality so far. A Shadow Broker sized pack would get my money right away.

I too would like Ashley/Kaidan DLC to make up for that cold reunion on Horizon.SomeBug wrote...
I'd like to see Kaiden and Ashley back. Because they were there right from the beginning in Mass Effect 1 they felt like my bros and it was sorta annoying that you couldn't fix things up in ME2, even if they still hated Cerberus.

The return of your "dead" squad member from ME.
Sure, there is almost no way that it could happen, but that Asari scientist survived Virmire (assuming you let her go) so it's "possible" that the squad member you abandoned survived as well.
I would love to see a horribly scarred and angry Kaidan/Ashley (depending on which one you left to die) set a trap for you on some planet and try to kill you for leaving them behind to die on Virmire.
Yes, one of the big selling points of ME was that you have to make "real" decisions that will get one of your squad members killed and you just have to live with it. But I think it would be interesting to take that seminal moment from ME and turn it into a morality tale where you don't just get to decide to abandon someone and walk away to continue your mission... you actually have to pay some kind of price for choosing to leave someone behind to die.
If you are smart about how you handle the return of the "dead" squad member then you'll get a little something that will help you in your fight against the Reapers (essentially completing a story arch about healing/overcoming the choice you made in ME). If you screw up your confrontation with the squad member who is out for vengeance then they will do something that will hurt you in your fight against the Reapers (the final price you have to pay for leaving them behind to die in ME).
That would be my dream DLC.

*jokingly* I'd love it for once if BioWare weren't the LAST people to let us know of a new DLC...
I know I'm being a bit cynical here, but Bioware really aren't doing a good job with this. Major Nelson for the alternate appearance packs, "Arrival" leaked... I'd hate to think how long this news would have taken coming directly from them. I thought that they'd like to be the ones to dish out the good news

I like this, but SOO many people would get mad and feel that it "cheapens" the game if we have a "resurrected" Ash or Kaidan.
I get the feeling that the last time we might see them might be in some sort of vison/dream in ME3. My thoughts is that it would be cool if you have a "face-to-face" dialogue with Harbinger or the Reapers' leader (a la the Virmire beacon), where it would show you either why you should give in or help it. It then uses an image of Kaidan or Ash to appeal to your human nature, where the Alliance member tries to convince you taht this is for the good of the galaxy.
Still, I'd rather have it so they were by my side again for the final installment. As sad as it may sound, seeing "75G-No One Left Behind" pop up on my screen after my first playthrough was one of the proudest moments in recent memory and I'd love to have the chance to fix the one major mistake I made when I couldn't save both my crewmates on Virmire.
