I want something that connects to the team members of Mass Effect 1. I only have Mass Effect 2 because I only have a PS3. I wiki-ed and Googled my brains out over Mass Effect 1. In the ME2 interactive comic I let Kaidan die(I saw him on Youtube and he bugged me), but I let Wrex live(Krogans are too awesome to let die). The Shadow Broker DLC with Liara was awesome. Met Ashley on Horizon and she was a ****, so I don't care much for her. Met Wrex on Tuchanka, and I think he deserves some DLC. He's a Krogan warlord with plenty of enemies, surely something can be done with that.

You should make an effort to play the first Mass Effect anyway. Wikis & the interactive comic can only tell you so much. You really have to experience the whole thing to know who the characters are.

I honestly felt much less attached to the characters in Mass Effect 1. It seemed like they all had much less personality.

That being said, a deep connection between the two teams would be nice. However, Wrex will be leading an army, no doubt (assuming Grunt doesn't kill him and take his place). Liara won't likely be at your side if she's going the team's new TIM. Garrus and Tali will most likely be back in action. As for the VS, I'm not holding out hope. I'm honestly hoping I can kill them off in Arrival and not deal with them again. Carth drives me nuts and the Klan member isn't much better.

Not at all, Cheez. Hell, Joker wasn't even on my radar in ME1. I actually checked up on him after each mission in ME2 to see if he had something new to say. Garrus and Tali were interesting (for once) and I can't begin to count the times they made me laugh. It could be that they all have unique dialogue instead of rehashing the same lines.

I thought it was common knowledge that ME2 was superior to ME1 in just about every way conceivable

If you don't want to buy a 360 for it why don't you try and get it for the PC? Or watch youtube videos of it. Theres gotta be some walkthroughs that you could watch?
