If you are madly in love with a npc and your decision to save him/her would negatively impact the world at large, would you sacrifice your love or not? Matters of the heart can change a characters perspective, or drive them down a path they might not otherwise have considered. This additional element adds to the richness of the story as a whole. So, whether you choose to be a lascivious lecher or a contrite celibate can and will impact the paths you take.

One good exemple it's Shale at the Anvil .

No Problem! Friendship can have as much of an impact as a love, even more so if it's a life long thing.
