Socially Akward, Like When LI hits on him he starts refferring to his mom
When Varric shows chest hair he shows varric his pubes
When Bethany takes a bath in the nearby river he see's it as acceptable to join her

Y'know akward

Yo man, dat is whack

Okay, I take back my support for this. Thats not awkward loser, thats twisted pervert.

Also, you need to reset your definitions of what classifies as acceptable character quirks and what can land you in jail. Otherwise life will not go so well for you.

Dosen't do it for sexual purposes, Does it cause he sees nothing wrong with it socially. Thus Socially akward

Perhaps he can Get exiled from Lothering and thats why he flees then comes back to be Awesome clumsy hero?

kinda like Jar Jar binks?
Mesa Hawke Champions of keeerkwalls *trips* OUWF

"Jar Jar your a genius!"

Points to anyone who gets the refrence.

On topic, it would be cool to play a hero who breaks away from the typical Bioware model.

I always like to be a E-F-F-E-C-T a smooth operator operating correctly.

However, being that kinda "wait, what? I only tripped down the stairs yet somehow I pwnzord the boss?" char would be interesting. But could also be really cheesy too.

Sorry, I'm just not seeing it. "Dark Heroic Fantasy" often doesn't include Seth Rogen-esque antics to win.

My movies and video games should be seperate

EDIT: No idea what happened, by my post self-posted half complete.

It worked for Goku? He was a major dork yet he was the universe's L33T.

Also worked for Captain Jack too. And didnt Han pwn someone when he was still blind in return of the jedi? Chewbacca was screaming and him about boba fett and he said "What?! Boba fett!?!" and then proved his blind han l33tness.

I think a better example would be, Agent Francis York Morgan, please call me York, everyone calls me that. From Deadly Premonition.

I doubt DA 2 could handle such awesome.

I'm not sure if I want "awkward loser."

but, I wouldn't mind if there were "awkward" or "shy" responses.

Especially in relation to a potential Love Interest, for example.

It sounds as if the story of DA2 is a story of Hawke's rise to power in the Free Marches. Leadership requires some ability to motivate others. An awkward loser wouldn't be capable of inspiring teammates to follow him, much less rising to rule an entire kingdom.

Micheal Scott is the most succesful manager in Dunder mifflin history, Despite the blight of new a new paperless age his branch has managed to stay afloat(kept all his original staff too!)

If you want a character like that, try Legaia 2 on the PS2. You can choose to make your character act like a total wimp and a loser...I found I almost always chose those dialogue options just because it was so hilarious... It never got old.

I thought all BioWare protagonists were awkward losers who thrived off of the approval of others...

I think it'd be a good idea to have some more awkward dialogue choices. If someone wants to play a 100% smooth-talking superhero/supervillian type, then go for it, but there should be some more imperfect responses in there for those who want their character to feel like a real person from time to time.

I want Garrett Hawke to talk like Mordin.
