To start, I am sorry if this is a repeat (but I tried searching threads and came up blank).  I'm just replaying the game for fun and I've noticed on the normal/veteran difficulties, Biotic charge can do pretty good damage when it hits.  My question is this:  Is the damage 100% tied to "power strength" or does it increase with "melee"?  (or a bit of both?)

I just want to play the game smashing things around and watching em die from the THUD.  Was curious so I know which armour pieces to equip.  I know adding melee is great for giving them a smack after the charge, but I'm looking for maximum damage from the charge itself.

Pretty sure its just the %biotic/power strength. Its dmg is like Throw, its all in the newtons. So the 5/5 (or 6/6 with some DLC) Biotic upgrade and your passive. There's Shoulders with 5% and so forth out there too, probably increase it a bit. While I'm not 100% sure on all that im pretty sure the %melee dmg stuff literally only effects the melee button attack (which does 125 base dmg).
