Okay, I'm a bit curious.

I've beaten the game on two characters doing two different ways of doing things, both of them have just recently finished LOTSB and have made their choices in the game. However, I'm a little concerned since this is Post Suicide Mission, that this data will not be saved to my character data.

Anyone know about this? Or do I have to play through again using both of them and do LOTSB before the final mission?

There isn't one Post game save along the lines of ME1. Basically your current save in ME2 is your save period, and reflects all the decisions, and missions you've made during the game along the lines of you choosing to import an advanced save to Awakening or Amgarrek.
