I was overall pretty dissatisfied with this DLC, but after getting a solution to the bug that made Morrigan act like I didn't allow the DR to happen, my approval for Witch Hunt has gone up by +20. (On par with giving Morrigan the mirror/giving Alistair his mothers amulet etc).

One of my gripes however, after getting the game to play correctly, is the fact that if you aren't her lover you can't follow her through the mirror. I mean, so I can't follow you because we can't have sexy time? It was a pretty touching speech (though pretty uninformative) that she gave, and I have to say I like Morrigan more after the precious few lines she delivered about not wanting me to die. [Perhaps this should have been used as a justification from the very beginning, would have liked her more in Origins, just sayin'].

I think it would be quite an interesting adventure, two friends going on a quest to god knows where, and I find it quite unfair that its only available to male Wardens. Friendships can be epic too Bioware!! :(

What was the solution to the bug? I am still having the problem you had.

The solution: You have to import a game from post-coronation (save while you are still in the throne room). If you import a save from epilogue it will cause the bug.

Hope this helps!

That made me sad, too. What happened to that whole "maybe even a sister" thing? Bah, I only played it with my femDalish so I'll have to do a run with my mCousland so I can have a super happy fun time ending.

I found that I enjoyed it more with my Cousland.

Sorry, to abuse the threat, but is this the only solution? Do I really have to replay Awakening + the horrible golem of A. DLC to get a correct ending with the Morrigan DLC for my Warden?...

They'll fix it eventually, as they were looking for beta testers for the patch. So you don't need to play through those again, I'm certainly not.

Just if you did want to see the unbugged ending before that fix, then you'd just have to load a save from the coronation into Witch Hunt.

When i get round to completing DAO on my female mage I'll be able to see what your on about the friends ending. I have to admit it is kinda annoying that you have to be in love with her to follow. Permitting you're friends or lovers you should be able to. Or maybe even as enemys, you could follow her through to see what she was planning.

With my Female City Elf ( played fully Origin and Awakening ) I had the bug.

Then I was reading the threads and revived my sacrificed Dalish Male Elf BEFORE the Landsmeet and it works at least that time. Still all others are bugged. But I have read they searching for testers to solve the problem. - a bit late for my taste.

Importing it directly from Origins works. You'll be at a lower level (probably around 20 - 22) but it works in the game.
