i downloaded version 1.1 and then bought the stone prisoner and the wardens keep. when i try to download them it comes up with a message that says fail, and that those upgrades require version 1.0. Is there any way to get around this, or any kind of way to get back to version 1.0 without losing all of my saved games?

I also patched the game first and then downloaded Wardens Keep and Stone Prisoner so that should not be a problem. For me restarting the client helped with some downloads, if that doesn't work I suggest you take a look at this thread:
