This topic has likely been done to death but i figured why not.
Which character major or minor do you wish it was possible to romance?
I could say the obvious like Kasumi. But theres a few minor character that would be fun. Emily Wong for example could be fun to get into her seedy underworld of journalism and have the option to visit her apartment like you can invite people to your quarters. Capt.Bailey would also have been an interesting romance character he seems to have an interesting hidden side to himself that you could have drawn out of him. Away from human characters i'd say Aria T'Loak was also one i kinda wished i had the option to get to know more.
None romanceable characters you wish were...

Aria. Perhaps Miranda's sister - then Shepard can spend ME3 being chased across the galaxy by Cerberus's finest (or angriest. Definitely angriest.)

I've wanted to be able to romance Joker since ME1. I would easily pass up ALL of the romanceable males in ME to be with Joker, no contest! I LOVE his personality, and his strong relationship with Shepard really showed in ME2. Throughout all Shepard's adventures, Joker was always there, and you could tell (depending on how you played it) that they not only respected each other, but truly cared for each other. Now, to what extent they cared about each other, that's up to you. But I definitely can see a romance blossoming between the two to make perfect sense!
Joker seems to be a man with many layers. Many people see him purely as just the comic relief, but I think there's more to him than meets the eye. He's had to deal with a lot of things in his life, and I think he puts on a facade with his joking around in order to cope with his challenges. It would be so interesting to watch him open up and trust Shepard and allow us to see what he's really like on a deeper level. I just think there is so much potential with this! In the end, I think it would be very sweet!
And before people start saying things like, "but you'll break him", he's not an eggshell! After all the physical activity he went through in ME2, you can tell that he's tougher than you might think. I am sure that him and Shepard could find ways to show their affection physically without harming him. Heck, if Shepard is able to get it on with Tali - an alien with an incredibly weak immune system - I don't see why having a romance with Joker is that much of a stretch.
And yes, I know there are major Joker/EDI fans out there as well. I admit, I find their little "thing" with each other cute too. But if they really want Joker and EDI to be an item, then they simply don't have to pursue him. For the rest of us Joker fans, it would be great to have the option.
My biggest wish - though I won't hold my breath - is to be able to romance Joker as a male Shepard (in addition to female). I have really been holding out for Mass Effect to cater to us players who are really interested in same gender relationships with males - especially since it looks like the females managed to have that aspect fulfilled in several ways. Again, I won't hold my breath, but it would be a dream come true!
