The name is really interesting, I wonder why he would do it. Thinking its awesome is unlikely as that would indicate emotions AIs dont have. You know, pointing his finger at something stupidly cool and scream THAT IS MOST AWESOME THING EVA!!!!111

Legion wouldn't make a typo, however the dilaogue writer probably did and since it's a rather trivial thing proofreading was ignored for things like that.

Oh, sorry. Understood you all wrong.
All names taken? Thats actually very big possibility. Think how many players such a MMORPG has.

I think it's an honest typo, but if it does reference a sort of actual traitor, it could be his consensus about the two different geth factions. Could be "his" way of feeling bad or conflicted over his situation, we also only have the information he's given us without any other geth to confirm it. It'll be curious when he finally spills the beans on why he's so obsessed with Shepard, with the N7 name on his gamer tag and the bit on his armor.
Or why THEY are obsessed with Shepard. Since he's technically the mobile platform of 1000+ geth.
You know what I'm expecting?
In ME3, when Shepard and Co go to Rannoch, the geth will all treat Shepard like some God.
They'll be his biggest fans. All jumpy and excited.
Christ.
Rannoch is populated by a bunch of Jar Jar Binks.

You know, the next time I play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, I am going to talk like Legion just to ****** off those who take that game WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too seriously.
Heheh.... I have a friend who does a perfect Donnie Thornberry imitation and he does that all the time, complete with matching handle IIRC. He's also a pretty wicked shot, so it's doubly annoying to the too-serious players.

I have a theory about Legion as a geth who is disconnected for long periods. He might develop individuality due to the lack of constant feedback. He also shows signs of humor and can be caught to dance. That's something geth are not supposed to do. Being a traitor could be the next step towards his mission to become Data. Erm... Human. Creator. Whatever.LPPrince wrote...
Legion's awesome. I'm just wondering why he'd spell Infiltrator like that.

That's not to say Legion can't make a mistake. He already did.
Sovereign never spoke to us on Ilos, so the geth got their info a little screwy.

If they ever announced a Legion DLC i would PM everybody at Bioware asking them to rerecord that line.

The geth got that information from media broadcasts. Who knows how garbled it was by the time they got it.

I.e. several of Hitler's officers tried to have him assassinated during WW2 to end the war... they were traitors... but only traitors to Hitler ... to the rest of the world, they were heroes for trying.
"Traitor" cannot be used to gauge one's morality. One man's traitor is another man's hero... just as one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
Context and perspective are key.

Not quite. Most of the attempts weren't made to stop the war, just to stop Hitler. Disagreements over how he ran the war, and his paranoia about his officers (which led him to execute many of them) were the primary causes. The attempted assassins were fully in line with the initial views of the party, and the war itself. The just felt that Hitler's tight grip on the country, coupled with his own meglomania, was leading it to a point where the war was unwinnable.
